This is one of three apartments in a traditional Thurgau farmhouse. It is on the top floor with 2 flights of stairs to climb (No elevator). Enjoy views over the garden with its majestic linden tree and the village. When the weather allows you can see the mountains in the distance. The other two apartments in the building are rented to long-term tenants.
This 2-bedroom apartment with a touch of luxury is furnished with all the modern comfort expected by the savvy traveler. It has a perfect mix of traditional and modern, contemporary design. Its vaulted, wooden ceilings and open floor plan give this place a spacy but cozy feeling.
The master bedroom includes a European double bed (Queen size).
The second bedroom has an easy to unfold double bed sleeper sofa. This room with a desk can also be used as an office.
The roomy bathroom has a bathtub and shower combination, toilet and one sink with a mirror cabinet.
A cozy living room with fireplace makes this space warm and welcoming. Enjoy a morning coffee or a glass wine in the evening on the big balcony and wind down from your day’s adventure.
There is a dining space next to the kitchen with a dining table and four chairs. An additional dining table with 4 chairs is on the balcony.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook full meals. The appliances are all of best quality. On special request we can set up a single fold out bed.
Guest access
Guests have private access to their apartment through the main entrance of the house. There are two flights of stairs to climb to the top floor (No elevator). Outside at the entrance is a lock box. Guests will receive a code for opening the lock box and retrieve the key to their apartment. This allows guests to check themselves in any time after 4 p.m.(16.00). A guest parking space is available in front of the house. The bus stop (Postauto) is just steps away. Busses go every hour in each direction, either to Weinfelden or Ermatingen.

There are many well-marked walking trails and small side streets for hikers. The popular Napoleon loop passes right in front of our door. From here go on half-day or day trips to neighbor cantons, the mountains or nearby destinations in Germany.
