Welcome to the second story 2-bedroom apartment with an additional easy to pull out IKEA sleeper couch! It's a quiet place for get-aways and relaxing stays. Come enjoy the private entrance space on our family farm. Relax outside on the small deck, hike and explore our 78 acre farm, or cuddle up on the couch and have a quiet night-in at our farmhouse apartment. The chickens, ducks, and turkeys strut around the farmyard. You’ll see our horses, donkey and goats in the pastures. The pigs will oink at you from the Barn in the summertime. Easy access to Cleveland, Akron and Amish Country. We are always available to make your stay enjoyable. There's a NEW dog run around the apartment for easy play and potty breaks for the dogs.
We are in the heart of Geauga County with so many parks and activities throughout the year to attend and explore. We will help you set up and enjoy any activity, dining or experience near by.
Guest access:
This apartment has its own ample parking, walk way and steps up to a small deck. There is a keyless entry lock on the door for your convenience. You have the whole second floor of our renovated farmhouse. You have an efficient kitchen, breakfast bar open to the living room. In the living room there's a built-in desk, big TV with DirecTV and extra coat closet. The couch pulls out, too. The bathroom has a full bathtub/shower, toilet and sink with storage. The first bedroom has a queen bed, built-in desk and ample closet and dresser space. The second bedroom has a full bed with built in dresser and closet. The laundry room in in the hallway of the bathroom. High speed Wifi internet throughout the space.

We live just down the driveway and are here to interact if needed. Our friend lives below the apartment on the first level of the farmhouse and can help also.

Uber and Lyft can be used to get around or you should have your own car. We are in the country, within a 10-20 minute drive to groceries, although convenience stores are a few minutes away. Cleveland is 35-45 minutes away west of us, Akron is 50 minutes south, Mentor is 35 minutes North, and Youngstown is 35 minutes east. State Route 44 and State Route 422 can get you anywhere relatively quickly.

Summary: We live locally but had to relocate briefly while some work was done on our home. This property is perfectly equipped whether you want to stay in and cook and enjoy homey amenities or use it as a launching pad for local attractions. Perfectly set up! If you're lucky, the chickens and ducks will be on parade in the morning when you get up.

Summary: My husband and I were in the area for a wedding. This looked like a lovely place to spend a few days and travel easily to the venue. This apartment was perfect for us. Well appointed, clean, quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Hosts have thought of everything to make your stay wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We loved this place! Hearing the peep frogs at night (and nothing else!), watching the animals on the farm, fresh-baked bread and coffee for breakfast, having a hen join me on the deck ..... what more can you ask for? The only problem might be that the slanted ceilings on this second floor make it difficult for taller people to get around the beds, etc. Watch your head and, otherwise, enjoy!

Summary: The property was so homey and comfy. It was lovely. The owner left a homemade zucchini loaf for us which was an extra sweet welcome. We enjoyed our stay very much and Chagrin Falls is a lovely town to visit. The River Grill overlooking the falls was a great spot to enjoy lunch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Summary: It was absolutely wonderful spot. Just what my daughter and i needed. Fyi my daughter and i did take our shoes off! There were two others that kept forgetting too 😔 the owners of the property make you feel right at home. The place is packed with everything you may possibly need. My daughter and i were able to walk down and see the horse and donkey they have on the property and just as Miss Molly said, they came straight to us for some love 😊 and again, i am so sorry that i forgot to let ya'll know we left so early on check out morning. I should have messaged you the night before. It was an emotional fast passed weekend due to the loss of our father but thanks to Molly and family we felt some peace n quiet in between.

Summary: This cute and comfortable apartment was perfect for our trip to visit family. The three of us fit comfortably in big warm beds -- which was essential in the bomb cyclone! It was a great place to be snowed/colded in and we were still able to visit with family once the storm passed, thanks to the owners taking good care of the stairs and providing shovels, sleds, and salt. They were very kind and we plan to visit again! It was super convenient to get to Burton, Chagrin Falls, Mantua, and Chardon (10-15 mins). And thanks for the homemade bread!

Summary: We were very pleased with the amenities and hominess of the place. It would have been great for a much longer stay if we had needed to cook and wash clothes, etc.

Summary: Everything was exactly as it said in the listing. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The farm is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The people are so genuine and welcoming. We went there mostly to go to Erie Beach and ended up mainly staying at the farm because we loved it so much. Very family friendly. Got to interact with the farm animals too. We will definitely be going back as often as we can. Wonderful experience and well worth the money.
