During peak season the cottage is rented by the week only, Thursday to Thursday. Peak season being mid June to mid September. In the off season there is a three day minimum.
This cozy cottage is located in the quiet Seawall neighborhood of Southwest Harbor on Mount Dessert Island. Surrounded by Acadia National Park, you can take advantage of all the area has to offer. Enjoy a fresh, Maine lobster from Beal's Lobster Peir, fishing trips aboard the Vagabond, hiking the many trails on the island, or biking the carriage roads in Bar Harbor. Blueberry Cottage is tucked away in a small neighborhood on Seawall Road. The cottage sleeps two adults +kids. The first room has a day bed with a pull-out trundle, walking through to the second bedroom with a queen size bed. The full bath is located off the queen bedroom. It has a small dining area /living room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. A large backyard with a grill, firepit, and outdoor seating where you can relax and watch the grazing deer. There's also a walking pathway to the shore.

Summary: This was our first time visiting Maine and we are so glad we booked this property. It was located in a quiet section and had access to a nearby beach that was just for residents/guests of the area. Everything was easily accessed from this location and we were glad to be able to enjoy some solitude away from the craziness of Bar Harbor. The property fit our needs for this trip perfectly and we had a wonderful vacation!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Blueberry Cottage in Seawall. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood next to Southwest harbor. The cozy and clean cottage had all the comforts of home . The quiet side of Acadia is a hop, skip and a jump away and Bar harbor and Winter harbor which house Acadia also are only a short drive from the cottage. After a day of hiking we retreated to the cottage and had lobsters and steaks. There is a lobster pot along with a gas grill out back. Everyday we observed the deer that frequented the neighborhood. There is a comfortable queen size bed along with a smart tv in the bedroom. There's another smart tv in the livingroom. The washer and dryer came in handy also. After a long day out and about we really savored the massage shower head along with the fantastic water pressure. Boy did it feel good. If you want a nice, quiet, cozy experience in Seawall, stay at the Blueberry cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed it

Summary: Blueberry Cottage was a great little place to come home to at the end of a long day of hiking and exploring. It had everything we needed to prepare breakfast in the morning. Our boys loved seeing all of the deer on and around the property. It was very clean and warm.

Summary: We had a great first trip to Maine. The cottage was very clean and was stocked with many things like extra blankets, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, games, and fans for the summer. We were able to use the oven to cook dinner and store leftovers in the fridge. The brochures and maps in the binder were helpful for planning our activities. We had a toddler and the size of the cottage was cozy and perfect for us three.

Summary: We had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Nice out of the way place away from crowds and traffic. Nice to see the deer and wake up to the rooster. Well equipped kitchen and the gas grill was a handy feature, although a lighter stick would have been helpful. Would stay there again.
