The Casa dei miei Amici is a charming farmhouse that has been completely renovated and restored between 2006 and 2010 as Villa. The house is divided on two levels and provides a 270 ° angle stunning mountain and country views.

Summary: We had the good fortune to spend the whole month of August at Casa dei Amici. The house is wonderful. While its rustic character has been retained, the property is equipped with numerous modern conveniences. The kitchen which is large and beautiful, was a natural gathering place. The second floor with bedrooms and bathrooms is fully airconditioned and very comfortable. The infinity pool is spectacular. The surrounding areas and towns are quiet, but very beautiful. The Adriatic beaches are just a short ride away. The owner is very responsive and rapidly addressed any issue we brought to his attention. Overall, we had a magnificent experience.

This followed upon an equally wonderful visit in July of last year. What more can be said when you visit a place twice within couple of mounts. The House was spacious (actually huge), beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all things "kitchen", and my partner (who is a good cook) enjoyed preparing a few evening meals after shopping at the local supermarket. Fortunately, we were also able to enjoy a couple of Restaurant visits which were truly wonderful gourmet enjoyments. Casa dei Miei Amici is the perfect location for exploring area, hill towns like Apiro, Cupramontana, Cingoli which we again did. On this occasion, we also had a wonderful day trip for private wine tastings at three wineries in the surrounding region. But perhaps the highlight of this trip was our visit to the monthly antique fair in Gubio where we could purchase some amazing Art pieces at reasonable prices. And of course, we took relaxing walks in the beautiful countryside surrounding Casa dei Miei Amici and simply immersed ourselves in the wonder of the Marche. 2 GLORIOUS WEEKS! But not enough! Villaamici is certainly a home of great charm and fine taste. We enjoyed not only the taste but the comfort of the house as well- not to mention the amazing views from almost every room of the house. We also enjoyed the garden and the outside dining area very much; kept admiring the natural unspoilt beauty of the surrounding hillsides with its typical Italian farm houses. Once there, we felt like we had to force ourselves to leave the house, go out and explore the area. In fact, we were very happy just to walk to the local village(s) passing through the farms and vine graves, ending up at the farmers` market and the village wine coops. It was a wonderful feeling to taste the wine of the grapes we had just walked through and buy lovely cheese, sausages and veggies from the farmers` market or eat freshly baked bread/pizza in the village square. It was a real treat to end the day by cooking in Villaamici`s superbly well-equipped kitchen and sip our wine in front of that lovely fireplace. This area is definitely a walker`s paradise. As a keen walker and supporter of sustainable/ agro tourism, I felt very happy to spent two weeks at Villaamici . We found that this lovely house is also an excellent base to explore the area. We were able to take a number of day trips to various medieval towns, admiring traditional Italian architecture of each or some days ending up by the nearby seaside with dramatic coastline. I was also very happy to visit the wonderful city of Rome after a long time again and see the `cool` Bologna for the first time. Villaamici was just a right choice for us with its fantastic location surrounded by many cultural sites and natural parks to explore, yet beautifully unspoilt landscape to withdraw to. We would keenly recommend to anybody who seeks to break away from the mainstream tourism.
