2 Bedroom House in Brussels

This, 2 bedroom 1000 square foot home, is only 35 feet off the Bay of Green Bay, was built mid- year 2018. The setting is picturesque and tranquil. The first floor of this 2 story home features a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes and cookware, a dining area, a half bath and a living room that looks out to the Bay of Green Bay.
The Beach House is next door to the LLC Owner's residence. Both homes are shown in the first photo in the photo stream.
The living room has a 44 inch flat screen television and a blue ray DVD player with an antenna for local stations or streaming TV thru Roku using your account log-in. There are games and jigsaw puzzles provided.
The second Story has 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. One of the bedrooms also has a crib and a reading nook. There is a 2nd living room on the 2nd level with a queen pullout. The 2nd floor has a full bath with a double sink, tub and a shower.
A quiet, private, rural location in Southern Door County with spacious vistas and opportunities for bird watching.

Door County had experienced historically high water in 2020 that caused the waterfront to be in constant flux. Water has dropped a couple of feet since the high water peak. The water varies on any given day and throughout a single day from being completely calm to stunning, waves that crash on the shore. The waves and wind direction may impact beach access. In late April 2020, rip rap was installed to restore and preserve the shoreline. due to the high water at that time. Swimming is at your own risk. A private dock with a bench is included. However, strong storms in the spring and the fall typically limit the dock on the water from Mid May thru Mid September. Due to unpredictable weather conditions the dock is not suitable for mooring water craft. Pictures were updated to show a view from the dock and from the shore to show the improvements.
Outside Security Camera:
There are no outside security cameras anywhere on the Beach House property.
However, there is an outside security camera at the host's personal residence located next door to the Beach House. The outside security camera is attached to their deck that captures the host's personal dock and personal boat/boat lift on the water, and the guest parking space.

Summary: The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. House is beautiful inside and out! Just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and relaxing, yet close to all the Door County sites and activities. Sunsets were incredible. Will definitely come again!

Summary: Great 2 day get away. Loved the house and being right by the water. Sunsets were awesome, fall leaves were spectacular ,especially in Peninsula State Park. Best of all, a majestic eagle flew right in front of us while enjoying a glass of wine near the water.

Summary: Duane and Linda are the ultimate hosts. The cottage is well appointed and in a spectacular location. Have stayed here with my wife, and another couple. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful outdoor space as well with spectacular view. Would stay here again!

Summary: The grounds were very well kept and impressive when we arrived. The sunsets and views are hard to beat. The house itself was very clean and well furnished. The dishes all matched and everything we needed to prepare meals and eat was supplied. We were impressed that there were even dishes for babies although we didn’t need them. Almost everything was well thought out. We would give this rental a five and half star rating except for a couple small things. There were too few towels. One bath towel each for a week is not enough and even more important there was only one hand towel for each bathroom to be shared by four people. That is simply not enough and isn’t sanitary. Our only other complaint was that the TV service seemed to be turned off on the morning we were checking out so we couldn’t even see the news and weather. We enjoyed our stay and our interaction with the hosts who allowed us privacy throughout the stay. We would return without hesitation and we highly recommend this rental and its convenient location to the rest of Door County which we loved.

Summary: What a beautiful place to stay. The house and the views were out of this world! Seriously , you can’t go wrong with renting this lovely home. The owners were very attentive and super nice. The property was wonderful. Although we didn’t need a lot, the house is equipped just like at home. You name it they had it. We will definitely stay here again when we head to DC.

Summary: If you're looking for a waterfront getaway, your search ends here. Duane and Linda are wonderful hosts from the initial booking until check out. The house was perfect. Clean, all of the amenities and the outdoor space was a 10/10 too. This space was the perfect backdrop for a weekend retreat with friends.
