2 Bedroom Cottage in Gregory

Wonderful family owned Cottage on North Lake. Charming is the word to describe this adorable, warm and friendly place. This is where you will be able to turn off your phones, grab a book, a glass of lemonade or wine and relax. Small, cozy and friendly.
This cottage has recently been remodeled from head to toe. A beautiful new kitchen with granite counter bar, hardwood floors with a no-nonsense finish, full upstairs bath with tub and shower and main level half bath. Two bedrooms, with comfortable queen beds in both the guest bedroom and in the master bedroom. Master bedroom has full sliders which give it a floor to ceiling view of the lake. Access to main bathroom is shared by the second bedroom. Wonderful deck, open floor plan for a relaxed living style and absolutely gorgeous sun sets every evening. (The sun sets are no charge but can be utterly breathtaking!)
Approximately 25 minutes from Ann Arbor, 15 minutes to downtown Chelsea and Dexter. Great dining in Chelsea at the Common Grill, Cleary's Pub, or Zou zou’ Cafe. Chelsea sports the ever popular Purple Rose Theater, begun by local actor, Jeff Daniel’s. Just a few miles down the road is access to the trail head for the Pottawatomie biking and hiking trails at Silver Lake. Inverness Country Club is right down the road and several other golf courses nearby.
The all sports lake is over 200 acres, very clean and big enough for everyone to enjoy. The sandy bottom and very gradual drop off in water depth is perfect for young swimmers, water games or just floating under the warm sun. Fishing, Water Skiing, PWC and Sailing are all enjoyable.
Our goal is to help you experience a time of relaxation and fun in a cottage -living atmosphere. Games to be played, fish to be caught, stars to be wished upon, dinners to be enjoyed and memories to be made! Almost bringing back a “time gone by” for some. (This is exactly what happened to our family with this cottage.
There are several steps down to this cottage, so you would need to be able to handle steps. There is also no handicap access.

Summary: We had a very pleasant week on North Lake. Everything was great. Lovely property, great hosts and a beautiful lake (sandy bottom and easy to swim). Although the property is advertised for 4 guests I think it would be ideal for 2 adults and 2 young children. Be sure you are ready for some very steep steps because to get into the cottage you have to walk down 2 sets of stairs and carry all your belongings. Overall, totally worth it!! We'd go back in a minute;-) Thank you Laurie and Dave!!

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at this North Lake cottage! This is one of the cleanest lakes I have been to. We met so many wonderful people, caught loads of fish (which we released back into the lake:), enjoyed the amazing sunsets, and really just tapped into the ease and fun of lake life. What a majestic place! The cottage is an original fishing cottage so it has its quirks, but in my opinion, these quirks are what add to the charm. We definitely intend to return to the lake and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We are grateful for our time at this little slice of paradise!

Summary: Had a wonderful week at this property. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, using the paddle boat and the stand up paddle boards. The water was crystal clear. There are several hummingbirds that frequent the feeder and were so much fun to watch.

Summary: Thanks David and Laurie for a great 2-week stay. We loved being right on the lakefront, and with dock out front for our boat. The tree over the deck/dock provided plenty of shade and even a next of baby birds to watch. The cottage is very sweet --- thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything we needed during our stay, from cookware to stand-up paddleboards.

Summary: From the blue scheme and nautical classy themes to the selection of artwork and antiques, this sweet cottage has a surprise around every corner and is as easy on the eyes as it is for restful destination on beautiful North Lake. The sunsets from the deck are absolutely breath taking.
