This property sits on a larger 15 acre parcel that adjoins our other listing of an authentic rustic log cabin (VRBO # 762619). The properties can be rented together or separate.

Summary: House was great, clean, slept 7comfortably. Everyone loved the enclosed porch with hot tub! It was nice to access the park by walking across the street. Property was peaceful, great porch swing! Would definitely use again.

Summary: Overall good stay. Close to state parks. Great fun on Sugar Creek. House is an old farmhouse and the lighting was dimmer than what our old eyes are starting to tolerate. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had the needed amenities. Kids said hot tub wasn't very hot, but they are teens and love boiling water for showers. There were many dead stink bugs under the pull-out couch. Screen on back porch was ripped at the bottom of the door, so we had to chase our little dog twice because if we didn't have a Rubbermaid tub in front of the area of the screen that was loose she'd walk right out onto the steps and run free. Would be great to have small map of the property to get an idea of what areas on the 10 acres is explorable. The kids had a good time, that's the bottom.line.

Summary: We really enjoyed our weekend here! It was clean and as described. Super close to Shades State Park! The owner included a state parks pass to get in free and that was a super nice touch! Thank you!

Summary: This farmhouse was great for our family of seven which consists of my husband and I and our teen and adult children. We spent a lot of time hiking at Shades and Turkey Run State Parks, so the cabin was great for resting and down time. It was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit in the evening. The owner checked in via email and encouraged us to text him with any questions which we did. He was quick to respond. We also appreciated the provided park pass.

Summary: We had the perfect experience staying at this home. The location is fantastic. The house is charming, clean and just perfect. We absolutely love having a fire in the wood stove or sitting by the fire pit outside. The owners are fantastic, responsive and provide a great rental experience. This is our second time renting this home and look forward to many future visits.
