Summary: My sister and I treated mom with a girls weekend for her up coming 88th birthday. We never turned on the TV, we chatted until after midnight every night, played cards, sat in the hot tub, and we built memories. This is the perfect place to unplug and relax. We will stay here again!

Summary: My husband, son and I stayed for a few nights. The cabin is great—impeccably clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room and a great location for us. We were there primarily to unplug and the quiet remote location was perfect. The owner stopped by to great us and ask if we needed anything. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the creek. We were told by several people that hiking was great at either of the nearby state parks, but due one of us having a knee injury, we will save that for next time. We plan to schedule another visit perhaps in the fall. We highly recommend it!

Summary: Three moms got away for the weekend. We loved the cabin and property! So many beautiful touches inside and out. Everything you need is there! The hot tub was amazing and the hosts were fantastic! We will definitely book this stay again!

Summary: For my birthday I just wanted to rent a cabin in the woods with a small group of friends to get out of the city and relax for a night and we did just that! The hot tub was great. I loved that the cabin was out in the woods and near a river. Everything was clean and well labeled.

Summary: This is nice little rental property within 10-15 minutes of two great state parks with lots of hiking opportunities. The cabin is on the same creek, between the parks. It is nicely decorated and clean, with lots of games and books. Compared to other rentals in this price range, there were a few things that could be improved: a good bag of coffee would be nice (only the cheap stuff was provided); the kitchen had what we needed but not quite as well appointed as others; the place could use a bit of maintenance (many of the light bulbs were mismatched or incompatible with dimmers and many of the plumbing fixtures were loose or otherwise finicky including a backwards-installed shower valve). An update of some of these things would probably go a long way to justify the higher price point.
