This beautiful, smoke-free guest cabin in Island Park, Idaho, which sleeps up to 3 people, sits on an acre and a half of property, along with the main cabin. This cozy approx. 500 sq. ft. guest cabin is in a vacation home area, tucked in the woods with a view of Henry's Lake, pastures and mountains. It is located on a private road with easy access to the national forest.
There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a small sleeping room with a twin-size bed. There is one bathroom with a shower, which has been newly-remodeled. The kitchenette has a microwave, a toaster/oven and a small refrigerator. There is a box freezer and standard size refer/freezer in the storage area which can also be used. There also is a barbecue on the deck for your use.
This area is a year-round recreational paradise! Hike, mountain bike, cross country ski and snowmobile right from your door. Fly fish the Henry's Fork, Madison and Gallatin Rivers, Henry's Lake, Hebgen Lake, Island Park Reservoir, and the lakes and streams of Yellowstone National Park...they're all within an hour's drive. Snowmobile on over 600 miles of groomed trails available in the area. Downhill ski at Big Sky and Grand Targhee, both within a 90-minute drive.
This cozy guest cabin is within easy driving distance of Big Springs and the Johnny Sack cabin, Harriman State Park, Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, Red Rock National Wildlife Refuge, Quake Lake, and the historic mining town of Virginia City, Montana. Day trips also can be made to Teton National Park, Jackson, Wyoming, and Bozeman, Montana.
The owners, Rich and Diane Hunt, live in the main cabin on the property and are there to assist you.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was very cozy, comfortable and clean. We loved the location of being near woods and having a nice view of the lake. Rich, our host was awesome, very friendly and attentive. We are glad we chose to stay in this cabin while visiting Yellowstone.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Hunt cabin in a quiet and scenic area. The cabin was clean and and well appointed. The Hunts were very welcoming pleasant people to meet. Henrys Lake is very close for fishing and Yellowstone Park is only about 15 miles away. There are also other interesting sites to see nearby.

Summary: We loved staying in this cozy cabin in the woods overlooking Henry’s Lake and near Yellowstone. This place was quiet and perfect for grilling out in the evenings and having coffee on the patio in the cool mornings. Seeing deer walk through the trees next to our cabin was amazing. Hosts were friendly, helpful and had great suggestions for local flare. Highly recommend!

Summary: The owner greeted us with a smile showed us around and showed us where everything was and how to use things and was very frowndsly and said if we needed anything to let him know. But we didn't need a thing the place was very nice and clean and I would stay there again.

Summary: We stayed at this cabin as a home base for a visit to Yellowstone. It was in a great location in Island Park, which we enjoyed exploring as well, along with a visit to nearby Henry’s lake. The cabin is tucked into the woods with a view of the lake, and was the perfect place to relax and enjoy time on the front porch. Everything we needed was provided, accommodations were comfortable, and the cabin is beautiful!
