Summary: This is a great location to explore Cape Breton Island. All the highways converge at this point making day trips a breeze. Summary: This was the perfect property for us--everything on one floor and just the right size for the two of us. Plenty of supplies for everything--bath, kitchen, etc. Was really surprised that Wendy was there to greet us, which was an added touch. She introduced us to the house and gave us great tips on what to see. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends who want to stay on Cape Breton.

Summary: We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and clean and included everything we needed. We got a load of laundry done and enjoyed a bag of provided popcorn and a popsicle! Wendy was a friendly and very helpful host. She gave us lots of tips and advice on where to go and the best way to get there for the remainder of our trip. She even told us to give her a call if we had any questions after we checked out. She made us feel at home and held make our trip a success. I would definitely recommend Wendy and this well appointed home away from home for any visitor to this beautiful area in Nova Scotia!

Summary: Wendy greeted us when we arrived and made us feel quite welcome. The home was very clean and well equipped with everything one would need including washer/dryer. Although we were only here for one night, this place would be ideal for longer stays. I would highly recommend this home.

Summary: The host was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations and a great resource. Also very responsive, excellent communication. The home was beautiful and a nice change from being in a hotel. The house was very homey, clean and comfortable. It is close to a beautiful walking trail and close to Port Hawkesbury where you can find some local restaurants and shopping.

Summary: Lovely one night stay. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities and everything you need including Keurig and assortment of coffee choices. Small deck to sit out and enjoy the view. 5-6 stairs with handrails to get into home. Host is friendly and engaging and had great suggestions for things to do that enhanced our trip.
