Summary: Prefect location for visiting our Tech student. Five minute drive to campus, restaurants and shopping. Home was clean, well stocked and cozy. Views were pretty too. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: This was a great house to stay in - well kept and stocked, comfy beds, nice grassy area for taking our dog outside, and very convenient location for activities at MTU. Communication was great when I had questions. The steps up to the house were not a problem for us but make sure you have a flashlight for evenings as there are no outside lights in the front. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Great location, other than it is a busy street at certain times. The home is clean, comfortable and a perfect Houghton get-away! Communication was excellent, too. Highly recommended!

Summary: Nicely remodeled small home with comfortable beds and well-functioning appliances. Quiet. Some but not all shades are light-blocking in bedrooms. Nice view of the Houghton canal. Steep stairs from parking area to front door. Leave time for chores on check-out day as you are expected to strip beds, wash towels and take out garbage (back down the steep steps).

Summary: The city and bridge lights are to your right, and the calm waters and colorful sunset appear to the left as you stand on the porch after a day of hiking, shopping, dining and exploring. This is a great place to stay, with a large picture window and nice elevation, three comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and household amenities, including a washer and dryer that make your stay more comfortable. Our dog was also welcome, which was a deciding factor for us. From here, you can go explore waterfalls and abandoned copper mines, beaches, forests and the downtowns of Houghton, Hancock, Calumet and Ontonagon. Walking to the downtown is possible for adults, but maybe not with kids. Don't be intimidated by the stairs you'll go up and down to get to the front door. Once you get there, it feels like home.

Summary: Came to Houghton to spend time with our kids that attend MTU. Great spot, close to everything with a great view. Very comfortable beds and kitchen is well stocked. Also appreciated the washer and dryer. We were able to park 2-3 cars even in the middle of winter.
