Enter through the first floor with keyless entry. Both bedrooms and the full bathroom are on the first floor. Take the staircase to the second floor to find a cozy living & dining space, half bath, fully equipped kitchen with single serve Keurig, & a wrap around porch to sit and enjoy coffee, food, or good conversation with a partial lake view!
Queen Bed in front bedroom. 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the back bedroom. Pack & Play available upon request.
WiFi available. Smart TV in living space with access to Netflix, Hulu, & other streaming networks provided you have your own personal account/login. Cable & DVD player provided otherwise. Home Hub equipped.

Located only 15 minutes from the town of Lexington! Gilbert is a small town tucked just west of Lexington. 378 Bar & Grill is just across the way from the neighborhood. Head into Lexington for most grocery stores, restaurants & shopping. 20 minutes from HWY I-20. 20 mi from CAE airport. Public Boat Ramp 7 mi.
The Fish Tale Cottage backs up to a wooded area. It is normal to see some wildlife, spiders, beetles, frogs, etc in outdoor spaces.

Summary: We were in SC for our grandson/granddaughter’s birthdays and baptism of new granddaughter. This cabin was very close to them and it was just perfect! Very clean, decor is perfect. Stocked with many many amenities. Driveway is steep for a vehicle and we were made aware of that by the hosts prior to our stay. Welcome basket was so thoughtful and Dan and Megan communicate so well and very responsive! They are excellent hosts! We plan on returning back to this cozy place in our future trips!

Summary: We loved our stay and will be returning here again! Our three children loved the bunk room and we loved having our own kitchen. We visited family nearby and loved how close we were. Super clean and wonderfully decorated. :)

Summary: From start to finish, everything was so smooth and easy. The owners are so attentive and make it such a personal & special stay. Starting with a hand written note and special snacks welcoming us to a gorgeous, clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting family. We can’t say enough about the accommodations. Dan and Megan go above and beyond to make sure there is not one thing you might need while you were there. We cannot wait to visit again and and make staying in the cabin our new tradition!

Summary: Great cottage. Clean, organized and the owners communicate well. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with access to the lake. Cabin had everything I needed for a longer than normal stay. I would recommend to anyone.
