Newly renovated lakefront cottage on Lake Henry provides an unforgettable spring/summer/fall getaway experience for people of all ages. House has 75' of lake frontage. House is fully air-conditioned.
Our two-story cottage contains two bedrooms and a full bathroom to comfortably house up to a party of six. This cottage is perfectly situated to provide one of the best views of the beautiful lake, even from the living room! Unwind on our large deck as you barbecue and enjoy your meals whilst watching the lake water shimmer below the hot summer sun. A fire pit (wood not provided) allows for relaxing campfires and roasting marshmallows to complete the day.
Our kitchen is stocked for all your needs including an electric cook-top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and much more. A washing/drying machine is available for use to lessen your packing dilemmas. Gather around our gas-powered fireplace in our spacious living room to relax with Wi-Fi Internet and cable TV. Air-conditioning is also available in the entire house. We hope to make your stay feel like home. Please bring your own towels.
Whether you are fishing or simply going for a relaxing cruise, take on the lake and enjoy the warm summer breeze with our 2 kayaks, canoe, and rowboat. Our large private dock also allows easy accessibility for fishing along the shore. The lake nests an abundant variety of fish ranging to bass to crappie. Feel free to splash, swim, and float around in the warm lake water. Life jackets are provided to ensure safety and to promote water activities.
Lake Henry is a peaceful and beautiful place full of nature and wildlife. Please respect the gifts of nature by maintaining appropriate cleanliness and be mindful of other residents by keeping excessive noise to a minimum. Let us work together to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable stay.

Our professional cleaning crew will ensure that with every stay, the house will be cleaned and beds made. We provide pillows, sheets, and blankets for every bed. We do provide most of the essential items as starters to get you started for your stay. These include paper products, trash bags, hair-dryer, etc. but no towels and soaps. Keep in mind that this is not a hotel, so you will have to provide your own essentials.
Renters must be at least 25 years and older. Lease agreement, driver's license and security deposit is required. Non-smoking only. Pets not allowed. Please respect our property as if it is your own.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at the property.Everything with the house was very good.The road to come down to the property does need a lot of attention.I'm not sure who you speak to about that the doc.That was Is dock Was very small. It was difficult to tie up my boat. Which is not that large only 18 foot passport. Wish there was a little more stability, buddy and. Size with the dock, it was difficult to see.It looked bigger in the picture.Almost like an l shape which would have made things better but we Made do with it and it all worked out. It is a beautiful late to fish. It is important to drive slow in this lake. Has there are many stumps and rocks? And it is not meant to go fast, but the fishing is excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

Summary: Peaceful, close to a lot. Yocks barbecue awesome, must try it BYOB. Went to an Italian restaurant in the Bellevue hotel it was awesome as well.

Summary: Had the greatest five night getaway. It just me and my husband. The House had everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable. The lake is beautiful. Caught lots of fish off of the dock and while out on the canoe. Would definitely stay here again or recommended it to anyone.

Summary: Ok if I was there for hunting and fishing maybe, but I was there just to lay back and relax away from the city. Bedding uncomfortable and unpleasant smelling of mothballs. Furniture to worn (saggy) to sit comfortably. Caused back pain. Freezer/ refrigerator turned all the way down low so we lost food. Knowing my arrival date, the owner should have had everything on and ready to use. In the ridiculously long list of MUSTS and DON'Ts, Having to turn on/ up the refrigerator wasn't mentioned. Although the check-in instructions were good, we didn't have a way to lock the door while we were out and about.
