Summary: Great place to stay with your spouse and a furry friend. Super close to hiking trails at DeSoto and only a short drive to Cloudland Canyon for great hiking. And just a few minutes drive to downtown Mentone for cute shopping and great local food.

Summary: The cabin was very nice, off the road so it was quiet there. I enjoyed staying there, I would highly recommend this cabin. I didn’t go upstairs but I think there were two or three beds there. The cabin was clean, I slept well, the host gave excellent information The outside lights were on when I arrived Thursday night. I will try to stay there again.

Summary: Our family recently moved to Alabama and have been excited to explore the State Parks. This cabin is so close to Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls! Perfect to do some hiking during the day and relax in the quiet mountains at night. We visited Fort Payne as well. There is a lot to see within a short distance of the cabin, which was perfect to keep impatient kids/teens entertained! My husband and I enjoyed the porch with coffee and a sunrise. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset views and the fire at night. our children loved playing on the porch and exploring the property. We will certainly be suggesting this cabin to family who visit us all the way from Minnesota!
