Summary: My wife and I came to stay for a quiet getaway on the frozen bay, and it turned out to be just perfect for that. We read books and ate pizza from The Log Cabin and watched early 2000s movie dvds on the TV upstairs. The two electric fireplaces inside were running on full the whole time we were out there, but they managed to stave off the cold! We got to watch droves of ice fishers going out in the morning and cruising back in after sunset, from the warmth of this little lighthouse.The owners of the rental are very responsive, and have printed out a little overview of the history of this cute mini cabin alongside their contact info. The driveway back does have a couple "do not enter" signs, but it makes sense since the road is attached to a local campground! Also dont be shocked if a horde of barn cats approach your car on the drive back; apparently they were expecting a toll. XDNote: Accessing the bedroom requires climbing some rather steep, ladder-like stairs. My wife is afraid of heights and had a bit of a tough time with these, but she was able to pull through :)

Summary: The surroundings were beautiful! The cabin is beyond cute and cozy and the binoculars made it possible to see a few eagles in the morning. I was really surprised we got to see them because of the wind. It’s the perfect unique get away with a very comfy bed. We look forward to going back during warmer weather.

Summary: So fun to drive up in the dark and see this beautiful lighthouse twinkling through the night. The fireplaces keep everything warm and cozy and we got such a fun surprise when the eagles came out in the morning! We loved the 12pm check out time and the chance to be together in such an idyllic location. We will definitely be back!

Summary: This location is very cool, surrounded on the Lake on 3 sides. The hosts were very accommodating making sure it was warmed up before we arrived. It's a small place, but it's on of the best VRBO experiences we have had. We would strongly recommend.
