This 2 bedroom fisherman’s home is located in West Jonesport, Maine and it rests on a working waterfront that overlooks picturesque Moosabec Reach. It is very popular for its breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and ocean views. The fresh, salty air makes it the ideal spot for a morning walk. There is a footpath behind the house that takes you to the back shore overlooking Addison River. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp, a small deck with a 4-seat patio set, and a grill. The deck is the perfect spot to have a morning coffee and watch the boats. This property features an entry, full kitchen with small island, a dining room with a fully stocked coffee bar, spacious living room, and two cozy bedrooms with full size beds.
I will supply you with everything you need to feel right at home during your stay! The beds are all made, with extra blankets on hand if needed.
The bathroom is stocked with towels, washcloths, hand soap, and toilet paper. High speed internet and cable, a DVD player and several DVD’s are on hand for you to watch. A variety of board games and card games are in the coffee table, and there there are cornhole boards in the bedroom closet. Hopkin’s Point Lobster, Co. is my business located at the end of the point. Stop by for a visit and watch our local fishermen sell their catch, and buy fresh caught lobster and crab(when available) right out of the ocean! It doesn’t get any fresher than that!
A fresh caught lobster will be given to each guest, along with a bottle of Maine wine.
There is firewood available for you upon your arrival. Any additional wood needed will be delivered for a charge of $5 payable at time of delivery.
Farm fresh eggs are also available to purchase for $5/dozen.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay here and had everything we needed. The property was incredibly clean and cozy, plus Marie was very responsive with any questions we had.

Summary: The house was clean, equipped with everything we needed and Marie was wonderful! We enjoyed the complimentary wine (seriously yum!) and the lobsters (so fresh, just caught that day!!) We followed the little path to the back bay each day and let the kids look for crabs, sea glass and whatever else they could find! We even saw an eagle fly in front of the house one afternoon. Walked down to the point for sunrises and sunsets, saw seals and more eagles, and took our boys crabbing and fishing! Took advantage of the preserve for some hiking and spent time at Beals island at the beach. Such a quaint, quiet little town that offers a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return! Thank you Marie!!

Summary: Great off the main tourist areas to relax. Nice location with water on the front and back of the property. During low tide had fun on the back side water going out. Added bonus of the free lobster and wine was great after a long day. Everthing we needed and more and host was so helpful.

Summary: Fantastic location water all around, hiking spots all over or just walk down their road. The grill was the best I’ve used at a VRBO. Marie delivered the freshest lobsters and we had everything we needed to boil those bad boys up.

Summary: Marie made everything about this stay effortless and comfortable. I have never had such quick response time to questions. She was always very helpful and pleasant. The cabin was clean and well stocked whether it be the kitchen, the bathroom all the way to the games and movies. The area is quiet and peaceful which was just what we needed. We had pleasant drives to places along the Maine coast to go visit on our day trips and we had the most amazing night skies at night. Our first morning we had deer in the side yard and there were the Hopkins Point cats to entertain us in the front. On our final night is when we decided to take advantage of the free lobster that had been plucked from the ocean 10 minutes before she dropped them off and the local wine which was a cranberry that my daughter absolutely loved. Marie told us how best to prepare the crustaceans and by following her instructions we had a lovely...and entertaining...meal. To anyone just needing peace away from the hustle and bustle we cannot recommend this place enough.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spotless, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and we had beautiful views of the bay and lobster boats. The fresh lobsters were delicious. We stayed 3 nights to attend a wedding nearby.

Summary: Thanks Marie! Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the fresh lobster. The folks in town were also so friendly. We enjoyed the area ,especially sand beach just a few miles away. Marie was so quick to answer any questions we had despite being a very busy lady.

Summary: Great,quaint and quiet location. Beautiful sunsets. Friendly community, great hospitality with lobsters and wine. Wish the bed type was either a queen or king since I am tall and the bathroom was abit bigger as well. Overall, GREAT!
