Originally built in the early 1900s, this cabin has been owned and lovingly maintained by the same family for over 50 years. One bedroom features a queen bed, and the other has twin beds which can be converted into a king. Each bedroom has its own bath, one of which features the original claw footed tub. Soaring ceilings anchored by an enormous stone fireplace give the cabin a spacious feel, while a large screen TV and internet access bring modern amenities. A wide porch provides the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning or cocktails at night, while enjoying a view of the mountains and pond. Hike the ridge behind the cabin and find yourself in protected state forests of the Mount Greylock reservation, with a host of hiking trails from which to choose. Summary: This cabin was great for our family of all ages. We hiked with our adult kids while my mom stayed back at the cabin baking and knitting. we loved cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen. The cabin is warm and feels like home. Brendan was communicative and responsive. Highly recommended!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopper cabin. We took full advantage of the access to the many hiking trails, relaxing in the quiet mountain side location and proximity to the Clark museum in Williamstown. Great place to relax in a real log (and lovely) cabin!

Summary: My husband and I just returned from our second stay at this lovely rustic house- which should be review enough. We love being able to walk to hiking trails, and just relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The house is well-equipped and is accurately described in the listing. The owners are good communicators, provide lots of useful information about the area, and are very accommodating. We hope to return.

Summary: I wanted something exclusive and isolated so that I could shut down and tune out. What I found was a magical and historic cabin surrounded by lush green nature and flowing streams. Once I discovered the swimming hole and the waterfall attached, my sense of adventure had piqued and it was on. I swam, I hiked, I read, I meditated until my soul was full and I was ready to come home and get back to my grind. I hope to come back with my daughters in the future. Incredible.

Summary: Property was exactly as listed. Perfect location within walking distance of wonderful trails. Gorgeous scenery and weather on this autumn weekend.
