Negative: Booking.com was a pain, and made the process of retrieving door codes difficult. The host made up for it with their efforts to help. Only other minor thing was the couch is very uncomfortable, but would stay again for sure.

Positive: A wonderful spot with a great host. You have access to the pool and work out area, and barbeque area.

Negative: They forgot to place some essential amenities'. Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap. But, it appeared to be missed by the cleaning staff. The coffee maker was broken, but the host purchased one and had it dropped off. Other than these small things, it was great!

Positive: The place is clean, inviting, bright, and stocked with all the conveniences of home you could ask for—even a rice cooker and air fryer if that’s your thing! The host was fantastic and, despite getting in late, answered my calls when I couldn’t figure out the keypad system at first (as a note, it wasn’t all that confusing, I was just exhausted and stressed from a long day of travel). The gym is INSANE. Two stories, 3 huge rooms, everything this gym rat could ever ask for. Stellar location — easy to avoid tolls if you’re in a rental car (and have the misfortune of having to deal with DFW, hah).

Negative: You need a code for every little thing—to call the elevator, to push a button inside the elevator. I think that code is going to be ingrained in my memory for weeks lol. The main kicker: the second night, the folks below decided to turn their subwoofers up to an insane level. Since these newer builds tend to have paper-thin walls and zero insulation, nearly every horizontal surface in the unit was vibrating. This went on from 10 PM to 4 or 5 AM. There was a lull and then, bam, 8 AM the party continued downstairs. During these hours, I did what any normal person would do: stomp on the floor a few times (as is the universal code for, “hey, keep it down, please!”). After the first few rounds of stomps, there was some improvement but the music was turned right back up to “excruciatingly ridiculous” after 10-15 minutes. I went down there around 2 AM and planned to make a plea for a sliver of consideration; however, they didn’t answer the door (cowards). I rested on my hope that they’d eventually go to sleep… Nope. At 8 AM (after squandering only 3 hours of spotty sleep), I wrote a note and took it down there to leave on the door… I knocked, waited, no answer again. Left the note and, around 10 AM, the music was lowered so that I could only hear a droning “untsuntsunts.” In short, if you’re noise-sensitive and relish a normal (ish) sleep schedule, you may want to bring earplugs or something just in case. I’m still leaving 5 stars because it’s not the host’s fault that people are so inconsiderate.
