Small & cozy but well appointed. Great view of Mount Ozzard, passing fish boats, and lots of wildlife like sea lions, river otters, eagles & many other birds. Cabin faces east so receives morning sun. This cabin was built in 2003 and welcomes many repeat visitors annually.

Summary: This property is gorgeous. The location is perfect for an easy drive to some cool places and to walk into town for food and shopping. We loved our stay in this very charming cabin.

Summary: We really enjoyed getting to see that part of BC with amazing beaches and lots of trails. Cottage was nice but a bit older and not very comfortable to sit and watch the amazing views go by on the great deck. Location was nice, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

Summary: This is a very private and peaceful setting. We enjoyed watching the sea lions and bald eagles from the deck. The jacuzzi tub on the deck is a bonus. The place was small, but it had everything we needed. The only issue I had was the bed was very uncomfortable and left me stiff for most of our trip and afterwards. You could feel the springs and it was very worn and it folds in the middle and was noisy even when rolling over. It truly needs replacing, in my opinion.

Summary: Very nice place, lots to watch action between the eagles and seals out the front door. Great place for hikes and the beaches were beautiful

Summary: The cabin was so cozy, it was quaint and yet had everything we needed. We could not get enough of the view from the deck where eagles frequently soar past or sit in nearby trees, and sea lions to be heard and seen in the water just out front. Not to mention the lovely tub! We could have stayed another week.

Summary: The cabin is rustic and cute. We expected 'cozy' but tiny is perhaps a better description. Staying for 3 nights in the rainy season, we had jackets, boots, rainwear, etc... and there was nowhere to hang things to dry. The bed and pillows seemed old and the linens pilled. We enjoyed the tub on the deck, even in the rain. The metal roof made it nice to listen to the rain, but after it stopped, an incessant drip right above the bed from overhanging branches made it seem like we were trying to sleep in an oil drum. I did text the host to let her know and she said no one had ever complained about it before, but her husband would check it out. We never heard back. The breakfast items included were English muffins, packaged jam, and juice. from from

Summary: Beautiful. A few small oddities, like the water either being hot or having pressure, but not both. BUT, the price compared to others in the area is great and more than excuses such silly little things. The included basic breakfast supplies were a small but very welcome touch as well. I hope you like seals because you'll see them all the time!
