Summary: My daughter stayed here during her study abroad and it could not have been more perfect for her. Great location in Trastevere and has 2 huge windows that overlook a courtyard. Nice high ceilings and a gorgeous original ceiling that gave great volume to the room. The layout was a studio - but the way the shelving gave privacy to the bed, made it feel like it was enclosed. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and spacious for Rome. The host was very responsive and could not have asked for a better place for my daughter for her semester.

Summary: This apartment was excellent for us. It is perfectly designed for two people or maybe a couple with a baby. The renovation and design of this compact apartment is brilliant. I especially loved the ceiling. We used the kitchen two evenings when we 'ate in' rather than going out to a restaurant. However, we enjoyed an abundance of very good restaurants in this vicinity. The apartment is located near a very enjoyable piazza--Santa Maria in Trastevere, where every evening one may sit and enjoy the entertainment in the piazza while sippling an Aperol Spritz....or whatever your choice may be. The Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere is one of the oldest churches of Rome. It is a beautiful church and very interesting. We made daily visits to the Basilica. People are very friendly in this neighborhood and there is a good taxi stop nearby.
