Sunshine Daze is a cozy and inviting home to accommodate the entire family! The lake is right in your backyard and wildlife abounds! This spacious home boasts 4 queen beds and 4 twin beds (bunk and twin w/ trundle) has hardwood floors throughout, is surrounded by trees and offers a layout that enables family and friends to gather indoors in the large open concept kitchen/dining/living area on the main level or in the large open lower level. Enjoy your morning coffee or for a relaxing dinner on the deck. The very large back yard with lots of trees for privacy is a great space for the kids or a friendly game of cornhole . The kitchen is well stocked with everything the chef in your group may need. Guests are welcome to responsibly use the portable firepit, 4 kayaks and paddle boats. The community boat ramp is available nearby.

Summary: We don't get to get together as a family very often and this trip was so needed. We had a great time. The kids were never bored and loved the lake. The house was perfect and so roomy. We hope to be able to do a longer trip in the future.

Summary: House was generally as described and we did enjoy our stay, however a few things to note for improvement: The cleaners need to do a better job. For example, the refrigerator was not cleaned out and we had to remove and wash the shelves. Bathtub drain was partially clogged so water did not properly drain. The beds in the kids room were not made. While the house has 5 bedrooms the dining table only sat 4 people. That said, we were aware of that when we rented so we brought our own table and chairs to be able seat all of our party, Seats on some of the deck chairs need to be fixed Boat house was left in a messy state making the enclosed space unusable with all the water toys piled in it. Also the screens were missing from all but one side of the room. Fortunately for us, the mosquitos were not too bad. Lastly, there is a conflict in checkout time between what is in the VRBO ad and what the Property Manager's instructions were. That said the PM recognized that and honored what was published in the VRBO ad. All in all, we did enjoy our stay but there can be room for improvement.

Summary: This property has great potential. The way the house is set up is perfect for families with kids. The kitchen is spacious, but cooking/prep supplies is hit or miss-no large bowls for salads or mixing. There were lots of pots and pans, dishes, glassed, cups, eating utensils, although some still had dried food remains in them when I pulled from the cupboard to use. As mentioned in other reviews, the house was not very clean. Carpets were vacuumed, but our 2 year old swept the floor in the family room and got lots of dirt up when we arrived. Several toilets were not clean. The house is pet friendly, with dog crates downstairs, beds in several places and even feeding mat for the bowls. We did find a kitchen knife on one of them when we arrived. The dock area needs repair and clean-up, It was lovely to sit out there and the lake right off the dock was perfect for the 2 year old as it is not deep. We also enjoyed having kayaks to putter around in with the kids. The covered area on the dock was a mess, dirty with lots of floating tubes strewn around, table covered in dirt. However, the fishing lures, with hooks, laying around, on the floor (where I found before our 11 month-old did) and table was scary. Now, it’s explicitly stated in the handbook of the property that the use of the dock is at your own risk, but I would think that meant swimming and use of the boats…… So, with serious work to repair/clean, it could be lovely. Now, not worth the $600/dy (incl tax & fees)

Summary: This is a lovely and spacious house. All rooms are very good size. And the back yard is big too. Remember all the things you like to bring to lake front. The water temperature is very warm which is exactly what we like. The cons: 1. Even there are 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boats. There are only 2 paddles so you can only take 2 kayaks at the same time most. One of the paddle boat is broken. 2. There is no life jacket. I wish they would mention in the listing or reminding renter after the booking that you need to bring your own life jackets because we have couples at home and can bring them if we know in advance. 3. We have to unload the dishes in dishwasher when we arrived. They are clean but doesn't the cleaning crew should unload them instead of the next renter? 4. In the welcome book, it states all paper, plastic should be put in recycle bin. But I can't find any and message the host. The answer is there is none. Obviously it has been a while that they update the welcome book.

Summary: Everything was good. We were unaware there was a steep hill to get to the dock. Also didn’t know that the private side of the lake was very warm water. But the house was good.

Summary: Had a great time here, property was as described and a great place to vacation. Communication with the property manager was not great, but there were not a ton of issues so it was fine.

Summary: The property and Location Are very quiet and beautiful. The house and Equipment needs a Lot of updates, Deep cleaning and repairs. Lots of Wear and tear that for the price seems Not ok. Would Not stay there again.

Summary: A group of friends traveling from different locations came into town for a 50th birthday party of a full time resident who lives nearby. We had trouble getting the code sent to us so we could get into the house. There was confusion whether or not linens were provided (they are) but it was not posted under amemities. Some of the sheets were already on the beds so it wasn't clear if they were clean or someone forgot to strip the bed on the last stay. Since they were wrinkled we errored on the side that they were slept on. We tried to find new sheets in the house but luckily we had a few on hand because the linen issue was not clear from the get go. Be careful that NONE of your guests have pet allergies. The house is pet-friendly. One of our guests has a severe allergy to cats & dogs and woke up with swollen eyes and had an allergy attack. A previous guest must have let their pet sleep on the beds. The house was not the cleanest...mostly the floors - there was a lot of pet hair. The cleaners need a better vacuum. Overall, the house suited our needs and we had a place to stay to attend our friends party.
