Positive: Wonderful breakfast left at the door in a weather proof container to enable you to enjoy it in your own time and with the exquisite view. Fabulous sauna within the bathroom area which enables you to feel warm and relaxed. For those who wish to swim there is a walk with ladder steps to a beach below where you can enter the water with lifejackets on and kayak (weather/conditions dependent) For those with variance of mobility challenges the nearby Mahinepua Beach is divine, accessible by car, for those who enjoy walking and hiking the Peninsula and Mahinepua Beach can be reached on foot from the property. Comfortable bed. This is suitable for two people who are comfortable sharing a very comfy bed. Small and effective BBQ to cook crayfish, steak, butterflied chicken etc on.
Negative: We rarely spend time anywhere twice as we like to explore new places however in our view there is nothing we don't like hence why we have booked three trips within a twelve month period. Handy tip: Ensure you bring food supplies from Kerikeri in a chilly bin or at Four Square in Kaeo which has supplies. The Kaeo Indian, 'Spice Grill' has quality Indian meals (and fish and chips for those who who not like Indian) to take away or eat in. Note whilst they do not deliver they cook the menu brilliantly for this Northland region.
