Fully renovated 1870 cottage on the Perkiomen Creek. Great for the outdoor lover! Fish for bass from the backyard, swim in the private in-ground pool, or take a walk or bicycle ride on the 19 mile long Perkiomen Trail, right outside the front door! Green Lane park is behind the property, where you'll find boat and kayak rentals, great hiking trails and a beautiful place to picnic. Come home to a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and fire pit for evening relaxation.
Such a charming cottage! Enter into the spacious galley kitchen with granite counters,stainless appliances including microwave and dishwasher. We provide all needed items for cooking, and you'll even enjoy a view of the Perkiomen Creek from the windows and restored Dutch door while you're preparing your meals! A coffee station awaits you, complete with a Keurig coffee maker.
A dining room that seats six. The living room has a comfy sofa and Smart TV. Front load washer and dryer are here for your use, completing the main floor.
Upstairs you'll find two cozy bedrooms. The master features a queen size luxury I-comfort Serta mattress, handy bedside reading lamps and Qi chargers. There's a twin room with two single beds just across the hall.
Outside you’ll find a small yard with 100 feet of frontage on the Perkiomen Creek, a 14 x 29 in-ground pool complete with with noodles and floats, along with a fire pit for evening relaxation. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, barring any unseasonable weather or acts of God. The cottage is right on the main road through town, with easy access to nearby attractions.

Summary: Beautiful home with a wonderful babbling creek. Too late in season to use the pool but I can see us returning in the summer to take advantage of the pool. Wonderful use of space and oh so clean, which is so important to us. Thank you for allowing us to spend time at this really nice spot!

Summary: Very cute house in a great location if you're visiting the area. Everything looked brand new - really clean, nice touches, and we had everything we could possibly need. Holly was great about communication -- everything was really easy and we would definitely stay again. Great spot!

Summary: Was really looking forward to our trip, but I have to be honest and say that it was just a disappointing experience. The Pros: - Holly was very responsive when we reached out - The pool was very nice The Cons: - I know it was potentially an isolated incident, but we had a mouse chew through a bag of bread on our first night there, and I had to spend time working with Holly and waiting on an exterminator to come and set traps and bait boxes. Knowing that there were rodents on the property during our vacation was pretty upsetting to my family - The lone shower in the house was constructed so poorly that the shower pan wouldn’t drain, forcing us to use a squeegee to avoid having about an inch of standing water in the shower each time we used it - There were a ton of spiders throughout the property, with webs over all of the kitchen windows, railings, eaves, and across the back door. We killed about 15 spiders inside of the house during our stay - While we were hoping for a quiet stay away from the city, there was an active construction site next door where there was heavy machinery boring a hole underground that made the house shake during the day. At night there was a ton of extremely loud traffic that woke our whole family up every night - The tap water was undrinkable (tasted salty), and there was no filter option at the property So frustrated to have spent so much money on our summer vacation to have this experience.

Summary: Can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. Both the home and pool were incredibly clean. The location offers those wanting to bike, hike or kayak the opportunity to do so. Or, you can relax by a camp fire or lounge in the pool. We enjoyed seeing deer, geese and heron along the river. The owners were so kind and excellent with communication...we are definitely going back! Thank you!

Summary: We were there for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us to enjoy the outdoors with fire pit and beautiful view of the river. Peaceful stay. Wish we could have enjoyed more time there, maybe next time! Happy Renter

Summary: The house is beautiful. It is immaculate and the renovations are tasteful, functional, and attractive. Waiting for us when we arrived were a bunch of tulips, all the fixings for s’mores, bottled water in the refrig, and binoculars for bird watching. The creek running along the back of the property gives you a million dollar view to enjoy while in the pool, sitting in the yard, or looking up at the moon and stars around the fire pit at night. We had the pleasure of meeting our hosts as we were leaving and they were just as delightful and gracious as they were when communicating by text before and during our visit. Thanks Holly and Frank for a great stay!

Summary: Holly & Frank were excellent hosts and their cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay while doing some home renovations. They created a very welcoming cottage and had everything we needed - including supplies to make smores & binoculars to watch the ducks and herons along the creek. The kitchen was also well equipped. Throughout the booking & stay, we had several questions and they were always quick to respond and very accommodating. The view of the creek from the kitchen windows is very beautiful and it was great to be able to walk to the Perk Trail.

Summary: Everything was clean and the pool was so nice! It rained so we could not take advantage of the fire pit. The owners had left wood which was very sweet of them. I could sit out back all day and just listen to the creek.
