Adjacent to Cripple Creek and only a mile from the Ivanhoe access point on the scenic 55-Mile New River Trail (for biking and hiking), this is the perfect place to experience secluded nature.
360-degree panoramic views of the mountains and farmland will take your morning coffee ritual up a notch, and with both covered and uncovered sprawling porches you can enjoy the pitter-patter of rain or gaze at the stars right outside your doorstep. Perfect for birdwatching, wildlife watching, hiking, exploring or just being totally alone with a good book.

Summary: The place was perfect!!! Plenty of space for my husband and I. We did have family stay with us in the room downstairs that was perfect for the small children and them. It was peaceful, relaxing after aday on the river or hiking we enjoyed the evening driving the road to the house to see the pink sunsets and all the amazing wildlife, fox, birds, rabbits, squirrels, cows, horses and abundance of deers it was like walking and being in alice in wonderland or snow white version. The property is quiet and can see the stars at night , amazing!! The appliances worked well, the water was always nice and hot for showers , the ac was nice to come home to after those hot humid days of out exploring. Thank you and we would like to return again next year in july. Qe have a reunion we go to and this will be our home away from home in Virginia.

Summary: This was a great house that met our needs perfectly! We had to come to Ivanhoe for a funeral and our family wanted to be together. There was enough room for everyone and the wrap around deck was amazing! We loved looking at the stars and having our morning coffee looking out over the rolling fields. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

Summary: horses an cows all way around the house. Wifi was up an down. Water pressure was good as long u only used one faucet. Needs have a trash dumpster.
