Positive: There was a store close by and the price was right for the room. It was also close to some restaurants and really good location to hiking at Mount Konocti.

Negative: The place was a little run down and certainly needs some upgrades, basic but decent. Light fixtures not secure to the wall.

Negative: The owner of the place demanded a $300 deposit on a credit card - I never heard this for a Motel nor a hotel. If I didn’t have a credit card she wouldn’t allow me to stay.

Positive: The room was very clean. All towlels and linens were fresh and clean. The room included a mini fridge and microwave as well as a small coffee maker. It is a convenient location if you are in town to sightsee. There is a minimart with a gas station adjacent to the Lodge. Perfect for topping off the gas and picking up all kinds of refreshments...check out the other adjacent business for some other nice refreshments.

Negative: The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there were only 2 very flat pillows in the room. We regretted not bringing ours from home. Life lesson...bring the pillow next time.
