Summary: The Moat House provided us with the perfect fall getaway. We had an amazing time escaping our busy lives and relaxing here. Days were spent enjoying the views and a good book or one of the many games in the basement, exploring local hikes, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Evenings were spent around the fire pit or in the hot tub. During our time there we had the best sunsets and stargazing of our lives! The bedrooms were super cozy - we hadn't slept in as long as we did during our stay in a long time. It was so peaceful! We cannot wait to come back and are already planning our next trip.

Summary: My wife and I loved our time at the Moat House! It was absolutely beautiful being there in the fall. There was plenty to do, no need to leave the property. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the dock. At night it was great to play ping pong and darts and then relax in the amazing hot tub. We definitely hope to go back!

Summary: The home and property were laid out beautifully they had everything we needed for a memorable, relaxing stay. The design was spot on especially the tv lift in the primary bedroom. The hot tub by the lake was very relaxing and the star gazing was amazing.

Summary: When we began planning our wedding we saw that The Moat House was being renovated. I immediately knew that this would be the perfect place for our wedding. I have grown up in this area and the moat house was always an interesting place on the lake and the renovations that the owners have done to it are beautiful. They made the whole experience very easy and we’re excited for us to use their home for the wedding. They even left a special surprise for my husband and I. They checked on us throughout the experience to make sure that we had everything that we needed. I am so excited to see and share the pictures. I am certain that the sunset made the most beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for making our dreams come true!!
