Luxurious, newly refurbished, 3 double bedroom house. Set behind the dunes with stunning views of the surrounding hillsides in a perfect location for walking access to the famous surfing beach of Croyde Bay and village centre with it's shops and Pubs.
Classical with a modern twist Sandy Beau retains it's local coastal character with use of natural materials while enjoying all the luxuries offered by a complete redesign and high spec refurbishment.
Driveway parking for 2 cars.
The space

Inside Sandy Beau:
A vaulted hallway welcomes guests into a wide, light and airy space which leads to the 2 ground floor bedrooms, the ground floor wet-room bathroom and also the large open plan living area.
Underfloor heating throughout ensures year round comfort and warmth after a day of exploring the beaches and surrounding areas of outstanding natural beauty.
The 2 ground floor bedrooms are light, spacious and beautifully furnished.
Beds in each room can be made up as 2 singles or as 1 Super King size.
Each bedroom has a wall mounted HDTV that is internet enabled for Netflix etc as well as Freeview.
The groundfloor Wet-room style bathroom is finished to a high spec with exquisite lighting of the limestone floor and spacious walk in shower - suitable for wheelchair access.
Also the bathroom features a large heated LED lit mirror and heated towel rail.
Stairs lead from the vaulted hallway to the upstairs bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
This bedroom can also be made up as 2 single beds or a super king.
It is a wonderfully light and comfortable room, again finished to high spec with multiple rooflight windows complete with internal blinds to give privacy and comfort after dark. The en-suite bathroom is subtly lit and beautifully finished with a slipper bath, toilet, hand basin, LED heated mirror and heated towel rail.
The open plan living area has relaxed seating for six with Sofa's and footstools.
A wall mounted 49 inch smart HDTV with Sonos playbar speaker is internet enabled to allow guests to login to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.
With use of the Sonos app the playbar can also be used to stream music from services like Spotify etc.
The front alcove of the main living area has a dedicated work space with natural daylight and desk. The space has easy access to 'hard wire' via Ethernet cable to BT Infinity wireless internet router if required. Perfect for guests wishing to 'work from home'.
A glass fronted log burner is also a feature in the living space for relaxing in the warmth of a real fire on those cold winter days.
The dining table is an oak farmhouse style and has seating for up to 8. It features hanging pendant lights that create a cozy and sumptuous atmosphere with multiple board games stored in cupboards within arms reach.
The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with beautiful natural slate worktops. It contains a large 'American Style fridge freezer with internal filtered water dispenser, Ice machine and Wine cooler. Also features an integrated dishwasher, electric cooker, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Behind the kitchen is an enclosed Utility room with vaulted ceiling containing a washing machine, large heated towel rail to dry wet clothes, wetsuits, swimming costumes & towels. A clothes airer also available for outside drying of wet items.
The utility room has separate access to the rear of the house where the heated outdoor shower is located for a truly luxurious way to freshen up straight off the beach!
The vaulted utility room allows for safe and secure storage of surf boards, bikes, golf clubs & beach gear.
Bi-fold doors with a flush level floor (perfect for wheelchair access) lead from the kitchen to the large rear limestone patio area for a modern inside-outside feel.
Rear Garden:
Guests have use of a new Weber Master-touch Barbecue with full array of utensils.
There are also 2 sun-beds with cushions, a Patio table and multiple chairs to relax into as the garden captures the sun from sunrise to late evening.
Sandy Beau has free off road parking for two cars on the driveway.
Keeping the Village and surrounding area as pollution free as possible is close to our heart and hence there is a Rolec electric car charging point available on request for those with Hybrid or Electric vehicles.
Dogs:
*One short haired dog is welcome at Sandy Beau at an extra fee of £25 per week although we request owners restrict their dogs to downstairs only - stairgate will be provided.
**Sorry pooches but in the summer months of July & August we do not allow dogs to stay due to Croyde beach being closed to our canine friends!

Summary: Beautiful bungalow . Lovely open plan kitchen lounge area . We stayed during winter so it was nice and cosy with underfloor heating plus woodburner . Kitchen so well equipped plus separate heated room to dry any wet gear . Three good sized bedrooms and beautiful walk in shower. Free standing bath in en suite also Location great . Just a short walk to Croyde village . We love it here !

Summary: Sandy Beau is a perfect property. Located near Croyde village and beach, also near to Saunton Golf Club. The house is modern, clean and very well equipped. We had a 4 day stay. Cori, our contact, was so helpful and precise with information prior to our visit and she made us feel very welcome. We had a super welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival. Summary: Very pleasant property with good fixtures and fittings. Nice touch finding chocolates cider and wine for us. Great local pub serving good food and sea front not too far to walk to.

Summary: We have stayed in five different homes in Croyde and this is our favourite. From the communication with Cori to the arrival milk / bread / chocolate/ cider ;-) to the cleanliness of the property. Stunning !!!!! Perfect location too - quiet road and close to beach and village - Thank you for a perfect break !!!

Summary: What a beautiful place to stay . We stayed for a 4 night break over the new year . The accommodation has everything you could possibly want and much more . Cori has thought of everything to make the stay just perfect including lovely treats !! From wood burner underfloor heating and beautiful bath we looked forward to getting back after a long walk with the dog . So cosy . We love Croyde anyway but this accommodation just made our start to 2024 just perfect

Summary: I stayed at this property for 2 weeks in August with my husband, son aged 24 and father aged 88. What a lovely, comfortable place to stay! The property is located in a quiet close on the western edge of Croyde, therefore an easy drive to our favourite beach at Saunton. Only slight problem with the location is that it's a bit of a trek to the shops and restaurants (my dad was not up to the walk so I had to drive when we ate out in town), and a bit of a trek to the beach: you have to walk up virtually the length of the road, a short distance along the main road, then down another parallel road and across the back of the dunes; or along the main road to the western car park and across the rocks. That is the only negative- everything else was spot on. The rooms are all well planned and nicely decorated with comfy zip-link therefore super king size beds, with TV in both downstairs bedrooms. The loft room has an en suite bathroom and is massive. Stairs maybe a bit tricky for older guests - such as my dad - but great for my son. There is tons of space downstairs- even we found it hard to fill the place with our junk! Loved the huge hall with its ginormous mirror! Utility room is the best ever - so warm, everything dries in hours! The whole place was clean and incredibly well equipped. The housekeeping team were great - responded rapidly to a couple of tiny teething problems. Lovely touches such as (compostable) pod coffee and filter coffee Really could not have had a better holiday

Summary: A lovely bungalow in a quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of the beach and Croyde village and a short drive to Braunton. The property was very clean and it has everything you need! Spacious living area with good sized bedrooms, very comfortable beds, great shower and a lovely patio area Sandy Beau provided the perfect base for our wonderful holiday. Cori is topnotch on communication and was really helpful from our initial booking through to the morning we departed. We were all so sad to leave and we will definitely be rebooking for next year. Thanks to Cori for being such a wonderful host.

Summary: Sandy Beau was just gorgeous, such high tech and high spec and spotlessly clean. We loved the lighting, the fridge, the coffee machine, the fire, the constant hot water and the comfy beds. We had some very wet days and so really appreciated the utility room, which got so warm and easy to dry stuff. Off-road parking for two plus no restrictions on the road. Would love to come back in the summer but until the beach dog restrictions are changed, Croyde doesn't work for us. In our rush to check out in the rain, I've just realised I think we left a dog poo in the back garden, sorry Cori and Gareth. Summary: Sandy Beau was fab. Great location, in a quiet cul de sac about 10 min walk to the beach and 15 mins walk (if you take the longer car free route) to some decent pubs/restaurants. The house looks even better in person than the online photos, it has been refurbished to a high standard with 3 generous sized bedrooms and two great bathrooms with bifold doors opening onto a private sun trap garden. While it was only the three of us the house could easily accommodate a larger family/group. We came during fantastic weather and was really handy we could open all of the velux windows to get the cooling sea breeze in. Loved the outdoor shower/drying room to wash off all the sand rather than traipsing Croyde beach through the house. We as a family are quite fussy but Sandy Beau was definitely one of our favourite places to stay at - Cori had thought of everything you could possibly need to stay and feel at home with - my 7 year old loved the games and books, and we all appreciated the Netflix to chill out at end of a busy day at the beach. We are hoping for another visit, maybe when cooler so we could try and the underfloor heating and stove, it was way too hot to use on this visit. Thank you to Cori for the welcome treats as well ! - I would highly recommend Sandy Beau for anyone that is looking for a contemporary yet comfortable house to stay at.
