Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week here. The house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, set up very well, we had everything we needed. The beach area was wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole boards, kayaks and paddle boards. The only downside was we could only find one kayak paddle and one paddle board paddle, but we made it work and had a blast on the water. Crystal lake is so pretty, the sunsets were amazing, the night sky was beautiful. There is plenty in this area to see and do. We enjoyed the proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes and wineries. The Cherry Hut, fish town in Leland, and Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor were some of my favorite places on this trip. I would love to come back and see more of the dunes. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Nice property, but the A/C is definitely not sufficient for the home. There was one mini-split in the living room upstairs and one in the bedroom upstairs, and that’s it. Both A/C units are old and need to be replaced. There also desperately needs to be A/C units downstairs. The house got up to 84° each day. I understand it was unseasonably warm, but this was definitely an issue and enough so that we likely wouldn’t stay in this property again. The access to the lake was great! So that’s a major positive, along with the deck upstairs. The only other, somewhat, negative thing was not having a dishwashing machine. Not the end of the world, but would’ve been nice. Overall it’s not a bad property and probably a really nice one outside of Summer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious cottage for our family of 5. Kids loved the sandy beach and cabana equipped with sand toys, SUP, and kayaks. Note the beach/dock is across the street so a bit more diligence with the little kids, but not a problem. Location is a quick drive to Sleeping Bear, grocery, and restaurants. Would highly recommend for families!
