Positive: A real home from home. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, provided everything we needed and more. Bev was very lovely to our little girl and involved her in attending to the horses which was a real treat. Very peaceful location too.

Positive: Everything about our stay was perfect. The setting is so peaceful with plenty of off-road parking and beautiful surroundings. The property is converted to a very high standard and is tastefully decorated with interesting information and pictures of the process and how it used to look. We stayed over Christmas and a tree, decorations and Christmas crackers were provided which were greatly appreciated. Bev was there most mornings to tend to the horses and was always on hand if we had any questions.
Negative: There really wasn't anything that we could fault about our stay. It really did exceed our expectations.
Summary: We feel so lucky to have found such a gem of place to stay over Christmas.

Positive: The accommodation was beautiful, very clean and spacious. It was lovely and cosy with the log burning stove. It was really well equipped with everything you need for a break away. I loved waking up and seeing the horses outside the window. We had an absolutely lovely break away and would love to come back again. I highly recommend! The owners were super friendly and really welcoming. Whilst there is a stable yard there too it does feel very private. The location is very rural but less than 20 minutes to Swansea. It is a very short drive to the reservoirs which are very beautiful. We did walk it one day from the accommodation but I think it is a walk best done in drier weather and perhaps in the summer when more people are using the route. It was really overgrown and boggy but we're pretty determined so got through it and on to the reservoir.
Negative: Being picky - the wifi which was very patchy and couldn't cope with us trying to do some remote working. However, I realise there isn't a great deal they can do about it given the rural location. After some googling about network coverage we made a dash to Neath to buy a Three sim and then had superfast 4G for the rest of the break. Again I'm nit picking but I think the owners should pop a curtain over the entrance door - I felt a bit self conscious coming out of the bathroom with just a voile panel over the glass. Don't let it put you off, we hope to return!
