6 Bedroom Villa in Ansedonia

One of the most beautiful houses of Ansedonia. The red tile, green vegetation, pink geraniums and the blue of the pool.
Located in the heart of Ansedonia (A verdant hill, in the middle between two beaches: the Feniglia and sliced) a few kilometers from the Maremma and silver coast.
Villa Azzurra is distributed on a fully fenced and equipped with an elegant gate that allows absolute privacy.
The garden is cared for throughout the year by a gardener and is full of hydrangeas and red geraniums.
Large areas surrounding the house, and at the entrance there are places for 4 cars.
The pool is very blue, completely surrounded by vegetation allows total privacy. Is regularly cleaned by a maintainer. Around the pool there are 6 chairs, sofas, a table, chairs and an umbrella.
The house has six bedrooms: 3 doubles, 3 twins, plus the possibility of adding a thirteenth bed or cot for children. There are 5 bathrooms.
The large fully equipped kitchen with dishes, glasses and pots for 12 people can prepare summer meals for so many people and the adjoining office has a table for 12 people.
Next to the kitchen, there is a porch with a wooden table for 10 people to enjoy beautiful outdoor dining.
Above the pool, and in front of the living room, there is a patio for relaxing with a large glass table for 14 people and chairs where you can read.
Ansedonia, in general, is a quiet place where you can recharge your batteries. There is a classic Tuscan restaurant (Vinicio) to 700 meters, a seafood restaurant (The fisherman) 1 km and a bar and food less than 1 km.
A 1.5 km there are two beaches: the Feniglia and sliced. E 'can rent umbrellas and deck chairs or use the free public beach.
A few minutes drive, you can turn and visit the Maremma with all its beauties: horseback riding, visiting properties that produce Tuscan wine or visits to historical Etruscan ruins like those of the city of Cosa.

Summary: Amazing holiday in a superb villa. The host, Foschi, was excellent. The facilities in the villa were spot on. The pool was fab and always clean. Lots of lovely Tuscan towns nearby to visit and some great beaches.

Summary: We had the most wonderfully perfect stay!! Foschi, the owner, warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home when we arrived. She offered a lot of information about the area, restaurants, and sights to visit nearby. There was also a complimentary basket of treats and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Communication with Foschi has been very easy and efficient from the start. Everything in the house is pristine...it's like walking into a beautiful magazine spread! It's very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The beds are very comfortable too. You can see the attention to detail in every room in the villa. The view, gardens, and pool are so beautiful and have a magical quality...perfect for a relaxing, quiet vacation. One of the highlights for us were the dinners that Mara prepared on two nights of our stay. The food was so fresh, delicious and authentic (the best we had on this trip). We highly recommend checking with Foschi for details! From start to finish, everything about the rental exceeded our expectations and it was really hard to leave this lovely place. We can't thank Foschi enough for making this an amazing and memorable vacation!

Summary: We were a group of eight people and had a wonderful time at the house. The owner ( Foschi) came to welcome us and to make sure we were comfortable from the beginning of our stay and provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants and lidos. The house offers enough space for everyone to find solace and solitude as well social gathering spaces for lunches and dinners under the loggia. You can contemplate the view of the sea and of the surrounding nature from the higher elevation of the house and from the pool without being disturbed by any traffic. This house is magical and we would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. Best Filippo

Summary: Perfect villa for a large family or multi-family stay. Easy access to the sea with the neighborhood swimming area within walking distance. Two nice beaches within a very short drive and incredible beaches at Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano approximately 20min away. Easy access to super-quaint medieval villages with several nearby. Overall, the villa was very convenient and clean. We made very good use of the pool and ate every meal on the patio. Be sure to request Mara for a home cooked Italian dinner. We used her twice! We highly recommend D'Azur for your stay in Tuscany.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience at Villa Azzurra. The house is neat, big and authentic. It's very close to the seaside, and the pool is beautiful— the picture does not make justice. It's family friendly and quiet, so not a good fit for youngsters looking for a crowded and nightlife-oriented environment, since this is the exact opposite. The Maremma area is all around and you need a car to explore it. Capalbio, a small medieval borgo, is also beautiful, and very close, 15 mins away. There are only three restaurants that you can walk to without getting the car. Nice stay, thanks.

Summary: My family and I have been traveling Tuscany extensively. We've been pretty much everywhere: Florence, Siena, the inner countryside (Bolgheri, Montepluciano and so on) and I can tell you: Ansedonia is a hidden gem. The villa, along with the surrounding garden, is on the refreshing. Everything is clean and in order. The pool is as beautiful as is the sky of Tuscany's seaside. The birds sing aloud and nourish your mind early in the morning. I remember finding the pool always super clean and the garden in perfect state. I guess someone clean and takes care of them early in the morning. The house is surrounded by high trees and others villas are pretty much "privacy oriented" (I guess, the owners are mostly well-off people not looking for publicity) and thus, if you're looking for privacy, it's perfect. You have the classic facilities: sunbeds, table, sofas by the pool etc. Is pretty close to the beach as the house is located on the seaside; You can get there by walking (15 min) or catch the little commuter. We enjoyed a lot the time there. The furnitures inside the Mansion are old (I guess from the seventies) but are coherent with the type of holidays we were looking for. You will have access to a lot of old books also. We will get back to villa azurra for sure, and I highly recommend it. Albert
