Positive: Great facilities, we got upgraded to a suite which had everything. A lot of things to do on-site : the pool is amazing, pickleball provided, jacuzzi with cold bath next to it. There is a restaurant next to the retreat which had amazing food and even music nights with an extraordinary view on the small beach neareby.
Negative: The first day we’ve arrived at 8:50 to breakfast (which is supposed to end at 9:30) and there was nothing left: there is no refill for the buffet. Also the small beach is amazing but dirty, they could clean a little but as this is a great addition. Also the location is far from everything so bear in mind that it’s great for resting but not really for a beach stay

Negative: Needs a shower and lock on main door. Bit more variation for breakfast would be great

Positive: It was an awesome room and the pool area was great. However, the were definitely parts that could be improved including the gym, spa and certain aspects of the resort. The breakfast had no fruit or anything fresh which was a let down. The spa service was below par. The gym lacked equipment and air con. But overall - decent value for money

Positive: The Sena Valley Retreat was just lovely - the staff were very helpful, the room clean and comfy and pool wonderful. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside of Cat Ba town, but there is a lovely little cliffside bar (with live music in the evenings) just next door and a little beach where lots of people swam in the evening.

Positive: I absolutely love this hotel! Beautiful and comfortable room. I had projector in my villa, so we watched a movie one night. Had super fresh oysters there too! Great facilities, very clean and big swimming pool. It’s located close by a small isolated beach with a nice view.
Negative: I would only add more fruits for breakfast

Positive: Amazing spot. Very relaxed and beautiful natura. Next to the retreat is an amazing restaurant/bar where you can have breakfast/lunch/diner. Every dish is 10/10.
