Positive: The cottage was clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The host was easy to communicate with and kindly left us some eggs and milk sourced locally which were perfect for our breakfasts while we stayed there. The kitchen facilities were great, provided us with lots of cutlery and pots, since we cooked for ourselves mostly during the stay, it was very handy. Location was great, an easy drive to the nearby supermarket and lovely hikes. Loved the view from the living room. Provided lots of books, local walk guides, magazines, puzzles and board games. Everything was thoughfully arranged and made the cottage feel like a home away from home😊

Positive: We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely cottage. The property was spotlessly clean and tidy upon arrival, and Allen had kindly left us a welcome treat, which was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The photos truly don’t do it justice — the cottage is incredibly welcoming and homely. It had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay, with all facilities thoughtfully provided. The views from the bedrooms and living room were absolutely exceptional and made our stay even more special. Although we didn’t make use of the outdoor space due to the time of year, it’s a lovely area and would be perfect for enjoying a drink while taking in the beautiful views. We loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
Negative: The only very small suggestion we would make — and it certainly didn’t spoil our experience at all — would be the addition of a side lamp in the living room. Having a softer lighting option in the evenings would make the space feel even cosier, but overall we were extremely happy with everything.
Summary: We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful, welcoming cottage with stunning views and would happily return.
