Positive: This is one of the best hotels of our stay in Albania so far! It is a very quaint, quiet, family run hotel that has all the amenities of a luxury boutique hotel. The decorations are impeccable, the views from the terrace and some of the rooms are breathtaking, and the beds and pillows are heavenly. You CAN’T go wrong if you stay here.

Positive: Located just outside the old town. But easy walking distance. Great views and quiet historical neighbiurhood

Negative: Trying to find the hotel was difficult. Sat nav not very helpful. Maybe give directions from the main road where hotel is signposted and then super easy to find.

Summary: Great location. Very close to the historical centre.

Positive: Stylish, extremely well finished, peaceful, clean and welcoming. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely to meet the owners who were also welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

Negative: We liked everything but parking is more limited than we realised from the description. We did manage to get one of the two spaces and consider ourselves lucky. However, there is parking a little walk away in the centre.

Summary: Would definitely recommend and would love to return one day, so welcoming, stylish and peaceful.

Positive: We loved our time at the DAM Stone Boutique Hotel. The hotel is tucked into the side of the hill and offers stunning views from the front rooms. We booked three of the four rooms, so had the place mostly to ourselves. Rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Each room had it's own bathrooms and they were clean and showers were large. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. Gave us great recommendations for where to go and what to eat. The hotel is directly below the castle and a very short walk from the bazaar. Provides proximity to all the things you'll want to do in Gjirokaster with a nice amount of serene separation from the bustle of the bazaar. There's a beautiful view from the patio out front where you can take your morning coffee and look over the valley. A very peaceful and authentic experience. 10/10, Truly could not recommend this hotel more. The perfect place to spend a couple of days in Gjirokaster. An absolute highlight of our trip!

Positive: This was hands down my favorite hotel in Albania. The location was perfect—so peaceful and relaxing. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had the most amazing scent that made the whole space feel cozy and fresh. I also loved the little touches like free coffee. Everything about this place felt thoughtful and warm. Highly recommend! ❤️

Positive: Small (5 rooms total) newly opened and veeery nicely renovated family hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and the bed is super comfortable. Location is just perfect; just a couple of minutes walk from the fort and the old town center. The view from the terrace is just breathtaking.

Negative: The shower. The whole bathroom gets flooded everytime you take one. Drinks to enjoy the view at the terrace not available ... besides Raki😐
