Summary: I know this hotel was great in its day, but man, it has really deteriorated. Our room was SO smelly of mustiness and urine, it was startling when we opened the door. (and I knew they were sold out that night, so decided not to ask for another room...but we probably should have!) And I've never stayed in such a tiny room! It was pictured as a King and sofa bed, but was a small queen and an old sofa bed that had the mattress on upside down and no sheets or blankets...we had to go to front desk to ask for these items at bedtime as no one answered our voicemail left at front desk call. We had decided to stay here because of the outdoor pool for our grandson, but the tiles on this pool were coated in black mold. I was born and raised in Beresford area, and decided to stay at Danny's for partly nostalgic reasons, and our wedding reception was here 45 years ago and it was the place to be in those days, but oh my...would never stay here again, unless there is a more renovated and less damp and musty area. It was a very hot week and high humidity, and I ran our heat exchange on dehumidifier which helped a bit with the smell and dampness, but it was still pretty funky smelling and disappointing.

Summary: Nice stay, staff very friendly, nice location. Pool very clean. Breakfast A1. Bathroom and some other areas would need a little refresh, but all was great overall.

Summary: Danny’s is a grey spot for your snowmobile trip as it’s right on the trails, or just a night or 2 away on little vacation getaway. Catherine at reception and breakfast is a blast. A great asset to have and she is the main reason we come back over and over. She makes our stay extra special. The breakfast and other meals are really good.

Summary: Clean rooms and beautiful garden. Loved the freshly cooked breakfast. Something you don’t see in motels these days. Only improvement I could suggest is to install extra outlets to plug in charging devices. There weren’t any free outlets.

Summary: It was a very nice stay, very nice staff and food in the restaurant was tasty. The complimentary breakfast was deliscious. Will definitly stay again soon. A great room.for.our little furkid.

Summary: Service at front desk is always friendly. The rooms are spacious but the bathroom was tiny in the unit i was in. Great spot since they a good restaurant on site plus free breakfast. I will be back

Summary: The property is very lucky to have Catherine as an employee. She is both thoughtful, kind and welcoming! She was definitely the highlight of our stay at your hotel! The Operations/restaurant manager would benefit from additional training. To be quite frank we were surprised to discover she was in management. On several occasions we witnessed Catherine calming guests after she had caused them to be quite upset. As an example, one morning we had breakfast and the manager was serving us. I ordered the cheese omelet, which was included with our rate . When it arrived it was cold and there was a piece of unmelted processed cheese at one end of it. I showed her and asked for a replacement. Her response was that we would have to pay for a "proper cheese omelet" since this was what was included. The omelet on the main me would be hot with melted cheese! We were guests for 5 days and there were basically only 2 options for the included breakfast that were edible.....the pancakes or the full breakfast. As long as Catherine is there we will return to Danny's
