Positive: Stayed in the two bedroom bungalow and loved the outdoor bathroom and the large covered verandah, swinging in the hammocks watching squirrel monkeys playing in the trees was magical. Took a night to adjust to night time noises especially during a very long and loud thunderstorm. The staff were amazing, friendly and professional. Food was excellent and great value. Marked trails were good, a little muddy after the rain, and the view from the Outlook was stunning. Felt really immersed in the rainforest but not too remote. Loved the ethos of the lodge and the main building is stunning. The perfect end to our time in Costa Rica.
Negative: Could do with some cushions or soft furnishings as wooden furniture not necessarily that comfortable to relax on especially when hammocks got soaked in the rain. With no air-conditioning, a pool would be nice to cool off in.

Positive: Amazing lodge in the heart of a tropical rainforest. Lots of clearly marked trails and a very impressive tower for bird watching. The wooden floors and furniture in the cabins and the communal areas are beautiful. Delicious local food with very generous portions. We did a night tour and saw an incredible variety of wildlife. The room with its outdoor bathroom was stunning and it was an incredible experience waking up to the sound of howler monkey and toucans.

Positive: The food was excellent. The night tour and hike in Corcovado park were exceptional with a very knowledgable tour guide. The grounds are beautiful. The squirrel monkeys above our hut were adorable. We enjoyed the walk up to the bird watching tower on the grounds and the amazing views from there.
Negative: We wished for air conditioning. I also wished that the bathroom had been screened off.
Summary: This was a great adventure. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Positive: We liked absolutely everything at the Danta Corcovado lodge, it was actually our best accommodation so far in Costa Rica. The service is great, the food is amazing at both breakfast and dinner, the room is something special , the territory of the lodge is quite large, has many trails around the lodge, the location is close to the beach. Breakfast had 5 or 6 different choices to choose from. The design is very modern, a lot of creativity. Large room. No need for AC, the room doesn't have windows but has mosqueto nets. There is a possibility to take tours from that place but we didn't so can't comment. We stayed here on the way back from the Corcovado overnight Serena tour. If I could rate it higher than 10 I would gladly do it! Next time we will plan to stay in this place for longer.
Negative: Nothing. Everything just perfect 100%!

Positive: One of my all-time favorite places and I stayed in many hotels and lodges in more than 100 countries! This is for you if you love nature, nice food and rooms with privacy. You have a lot of the animals of the national park and have still a roof all you need. It is an unbelievable place to see amazing birds. Do not go if you need air conditioning and are afraid of animals. An amazing place to immerse with nature. We now have been 4 times and will definitely come again :-). Super well managed by the owner and the stuff is so nice and they all know what they do.
