Positive: Travelled solo from Australia and loved this place in beautiful Danyang. Slept really well with good aircon and AMAZING views over the river and bridge. It lights up at night and has music playing too. A nice 20min walk across that bridge to Gosu Cave. Water pressure was fantastic, the place was super clean and owner was kind & helpful. A really lovely spot to stay-and 2min walk to the bus terminal and 10min taxi to the station.

Positive: The owner was super friendly and helpful. Good location near the taxi rank and bus terminal. Lovely view of the river and the spectacular bridge with its entertaining light and waterfall show at night! It was very clean :-)
Negative: There was a shared kitchen but it had a very strong smell. The aircon in our room started making a rattling noise after it had been on for a couple of hours so we had to turn it off and open the windows and then there was traffic noise. Not a great night’s sleep :-(

Positive: The stay in this small town was very pleasant. Thanks to the kind owners of the hostel and the café downstairs, I felt truly welcome. The café space between the lower café and the hostel was open to guests, and I enjoyed spending my evening there. The room was adorable and clean, with a nice view of the river and the bridge – which lit up at night in rhythm to Korean hits, including Dynamite by BTS, which really made me smile. Danyang was magical, and if I ever travel in the area again, I will definitely come back.
Negative: Nothing. Everything was perfect!
