Positive: Our host Hussein was not only lovely, but also super attentive. Great deals can be organised for camel riding and desert camping. Secure motorcycle parking inside the complex. Very cute Bedouin type rooms and roof top relaxation area. Great to ne surrounded by locals in town, and not be in the touristique zone out of town.
Summary: Bedouin bliss in the Sahara

Positive: The owner was very nice, and accommodated my early start the next day by getting breakfast ready for me before the normal time. Room was big and pleasant, delicious brekky. Also very affordable, and for around €30 it was exceptional value for money. Very cool decor
Negative: Cash only, but I couldn’t see this on the website so had to wander into the souq for 20 minutes down quiet streets to find an ATM. Not catastrophic at all though
Summary: Pleasant and affordable, cool decor

Positive: Quiet location, the collection of hostel style rooms are small but sufficient, it should be noted that they have no heating or AC so plan your stay accordingly. We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults Our room had a double and a single - both hard up again at the walls, the other room had one double. Sharing the double with hubby I kept rolling to the middle and slept poorly. As it was early Jan it was very cold in the morning. The shower water running only the hot tap was warm but not hot and we were given one small towel similar size to a bath mat for 2 ppl to share. Hubby decided to not shower given the water temp and it was only one night. Our son’s room also only had one small towel. Breakfast was a typical one of a boiled egg, yoghurt, dates, a cheese triangle and bread stick cut up served with tea or coffee. The host is really nice, he served comp mint tea upon arrival and kindly showed us around - he is a real asset to the accommodation. For what we paid I felt this was still value for money
Negative: One small towel for 2 ppl No heating (or AC) could be a problem Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable as it dipped in the middle But for what we paid I felt it was appropriately priced
Summary: Nice budget accom - host is the best
