Summary: It certainly lives up to it's name! We had an amazing stay at the Bubble on the Beach. Liz was great at arranging transport from Marrakesh for us, and driving through the desert and along that sandy track road you realise you are arriving to a little slice of paradise. This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of citylife, sigh and relax, as you're about to be taken care of. The staff were all fantastic - so helpful, welcoming, and we felt like part of the family. The food was amazing! We had some bad food in Marrakesh. We left Dar Danse knowing we were heading home to a diet - the food, although pretty healthy, was too good to not overeat. We felt very welcome here and enjoyed wandering around, sometimes with the company of the hounds. The beach was great for an explore, and I loved checking out what the locals were farming in their fields. I had my first chat with a camel! He looked perplexed. On one of the days we travelled into Essaouira, which was fun but made me glad we'd chosen to stay out of the city at Dar Danse, where the pace was gentle and we could relax with a book by the pool and listen to the Atlantic. We will definitely be back! Although maybe when it's a bit warmer. We're too wimpy for the November sea!
