Positive: After ascending the Todra Valley, crossing the mountains, and descending through the Dades Valley back to the Kasbah route, we decided to spend the night near El-Kelaa M'Gouna – a region known for its rose gardens. This accommodation is a family-run project and has been operating for less than six months. Therefore, it's important to note that, at the time of our visit, there was construction underway – an expansion of the number of rooms, the construction of a swimming pool, etc. This didn't bother us at all – after all, we all have to start somewhere. And, from what we saw, it will be quite beautiful. It's noticeable that everything is still new – and made with care. Our room was quite spacious. The owner and his wife were very attentive and helpful – the Moroccan hospitality with tea and typical sweets on the terrace at sunset was worthwhile. We were able to park our car on the property.

Negative: Just getting there requires a bit of creativity, as the GPS sends you to a nearby location, but without access to the street where the accommodation is actually located. But, with a bit of logic, we managed – via a parallel street – to reach the black gate with the inscription Dar Olivegarden Inn.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at dar olivegarden inn. The owner is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well equipped, which made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights is the beautiful outdoor terrace — a perfect place to relax and spend your free time. It adds a special charm to the whole experience. The hotel is currently expanding, which means there will soon be even more rooms available for guests. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort is being put into making this place even better. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

Positive: Rachid, the host is super friendly and always ready to help you. Everything is brand-new, the hotel is still in expansion. If you arrive in the neighborhood just call Rachid and he will guide you for the last hundreds of meters to the hotel

Negative: The beds are quiet hard (as mostly in Morocco)

Positive: The (brother of ) the owner drove up to the main road to fetch me, since it was rainy and dark outside (december), so considerate. After parking behind the hotel's iron gate I was welcomed with tea and biscuits. The hotel is brand new, you can smell it. Very comfy bed. In the morning after a great breakfast, I was taken for a lovely strolll through the countryside.

Negative: December is cold and the A/C was not installed yet. The connections are all there, will be finished soon. It was a frigid night, but was covered in blankets by the host.

Summary: Great hide-out wel off the main road, lovely host(s).
