Positive: This hotel (more like a guest house) is located in the centre of the old souk with loads of restaurants and shops available around the area. The marina/beach is a 15 mins walk away as well. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful and treated us very nicely. I would like to point out that the lady who cooked us our breakfast was excellent and made our breakfast just the way we liked it.
Negative: There was no coffee or tea or kettle available in the room, but the hotel staff provided us with hot water whenever we needed it. There is a little noise that comes from the lanes closeby, but it wasn't too much of a worry for us.

Negative: The bathroom only had a curtain but that is quite common in Morocco.

Positive: Wonderful stay at Dar Souran: the breakfast was very good , both salty and sweet, and with a nice view from the terrace. It is located in the city center so super close to everything; the room was big, nice and clean. Also, useful taxi service from/to the airport. But the best, and the reason why we chose this hotel and we would recommend it to everyone, was the staff, and especially Hakim: kind, funny ,helpful and genuine ,he made our stay 10/10. Thank you Hakim and all the staff! We had love our time there and if back to Tanger we will come at Dar Souran for sure

Positive: Our room was huge and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful with touring tips as well as helping to get our luggage from the car to the Dar. The whole place is clean, nicely decorated, and generally just very nice. The terrace, where breakfast was served, was large and had decent views. Breakfast was delicious.
Negative: We had the only room that was located on the top floor, with access from the terrace and several windows. This would all be good except the sunrise call to prayer can be very loud and the is a rooster close by that sometimes started his call well before dawn. Our friends who stayed on a lower floor had no noise issues.
Summary: Great place, just don't get the terrace room

Positive: Very clean and respectful staff! Akeem and his staff we absolutely the best! It was my birthday trip and we didn’t even tell them. Came back to the room to a bottle of wine and fresh rose petals scattered across the room and bed with two full red roses on the pillows. From the breakfast on the roof to the best recommendations a local can give. 100/10 stay here if you visit tangier!
