My Husband, Pete and I have a wonderful, spacious in-law suite that we'd like to share with HomeAway guests. We are experienced hosts and look forward to making your stay pleasant and comfortable.
Our place is excellent for couples & business travelers. You’ll love it because of its coziness, comfort and location. We're within 20 miles of Dartmouth Hitchcock Med. Ctr. & Dartmouth College. There are recreational hiking & biking trails, cross country skiing & snow shoeing. 1/2 mile to NH Snowmobile Corridor #5. Within 1/2 hour is Lake Sunapee State Park, Mt. Sunapee Ski Area, Whale Back Mt. Ski Area, Enfield Shaker Museum, Mascoma Lake, St. Gaudens Nat'l Park & the Connecticut River.
Our guests will enjoy their privacy in our spacious 5 room, 2 bath in-law suite with private entrance and combination keypad door lock. We're happy to share our deck and yard behind the main house & outdoor grill. There's plenty of guest parking and we're also happy to provide garage space for one vehicle during your stay.
The neighborhood is county living at its best. Quiet neighborhood on a forested dead-end road great for peaceful walks. Hiking and snowmobile trails close by. Close to Eastman and easy 3-mile access to Interstate 89, local stores and restaurants.

Summary: Ray and Pete were perfect hosts. The apartment was CLEAN and so comfortable. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The breakfast food that Ray and Pete had in the kitchen for us to eat was really special. They gave us suggestions for where to eat dinner and local hiking trails. We would all stay here again. Summary: I cannot stop gushing about our stay at Ray and Pete's in Grantham! My husband and I, along with our college age daughter, needed a home base when we took her back to Dartmouth from a quarter studying abroad in Rome. The choice of hotels in the area are either very expensive or too cheap (and scary!) I have found a safe and happy middle ground in VRBOs within 20 minutes of school. Ray and Pete were the perfect hosts. There if you need them and so happy to greet us! The suite was nicely appointed, super clean, comfortable and most of all, quiet--all I needed after a crazy-busy two weeks in crowded Italy and France. We'll be returning again and again (if they'll have us). Katy graduates in '24!

Summary: We enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The hosts even provide breakfast foods! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio and watching the turkeys and other wildlife stroll through the woods and yard. This was a perfect jumping off point for exploring Lebanon, Hanover, Queechee and Woodstock and visiting King Arthur Flour. We would definitely stay again. Thanks to Ray and Pete for being wonderful hosts.

Summary: The apt is spacious, cozy, perfect for family or friends. Comfortable beds, kitchen is full equipped with all utensils you may need. Ray is beyond all expectations when it comes to a host. Summary: We stayed here while visiting family in Lebanon for the holidays. Ray and Pete's place very well appointed with comfortable bedding and furniture and is a perfect base for exploring everything the area. It was extremely tidy and clean and, unlike most rentals, had all of the kitchen items we could have ever needed, including actual sharp knives! It's also a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the New Hampshire woods. We look forward to staying there during other seasons to spend time enjoying the outside of this property.

Summary: Ray and Pete are amazing hosts. We used the apartment in order to quarantine away from my husband who is on the front lines being exposed to COVID19. Ray and Pete provided everything we needed for a great stay. The bedding and linens are wonderfully soft and the kitchen is well-equipped for a long or short stay. They provided breakfast foods, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. The living area is spacious and perfect for a business trip or vacation. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts. We can’t wait to stay at their place again.
