Positive: It’s close to the airport, convenient if you want to be close to the airport and get a ride there for an early flight.

Negative: It’s a couple of kms from public transport, we ended up using an Uber to get there from public transport. Kitchen was closed on a Saturday, there was not a lot of options to eat, could not see any open stores or anything, we walked 1-2 km to the only restaurant open in that small town.

Summary: It’s ok if you want to be close to the airport, but you need taxi or Uber

Negative: The AC was flashing all Night and the remote control was missing. The radiator a little noisy. I believe it is very expensive for such a hotel. Vienna city center has much better value for money.

Positive: The staff was wonderful and truly helpful. They really went out of their way to help us. If you want to stay at this hotel - make sure you book in the principal building and not Just Rooms.

Negative: You get what you pay for and let me start by saying that I did not expect the Ritz for this price. However, I also did not expect having to walk 300m away from the hotel to my very tiny outdated room and even tinier dust filled bathroom. As I said - you get what you paid for. It is close to the airport (shuttle is around 30 euros for a 7 min drive and driver asked for cash) and much less expensive than the other hotels.

Summary: You get what you pay for and REALLY nothing more

Positive: Staff were nice, Breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean.

Negative: There was a miscommunication for check-in. We agreed they would leave the key at a safe box because the reception closes at 00:00. On this specific night the person at the reception didn’t close at 00:00 and forgot to inform us. So we arrived at the safe box and surprise no key. We had to call a third party company that finally called the hotel and then called us back to inform us that apparently the reception is still open hence the reason why we couldn’t find the key so we need to go to the reception. The reception and the safe box is like 100m apart so we went and checked-in. It was a small mistake but as a visitor from another country it was quickly getting frustrating at 1am into the night. I’m glad it was quickly resolved and we got access and a sorry from the receptionist. It’s also good to note that the hotel is really close to the airport. About 15mins by taxi but a bit far from the city centre.

Positive: After our flight home was messed up, this was a very welcome spot to rest. The area was quiet and the room was amazing. It had 2 rooms with 3 beds and after a very long day in an airport, I greatly appreciated the hot shower and the heated bathroom floors. The front desk staff helped arrange a taxi for the morning so we didn't have to stress about getting to the airport and that was a huge relief. We only had 12 hours in the country before we went home but I'll make this my home base if we come back to Austria.

Negative: This is no complaint about the hotel but the area is a bit small and out of the way, if you're expecting a more old city Vienna feel. But if you want a comfortable, clean home away from home that's an easy trip to the city center, you should book here.
