Welcome to our Davis Islands (DI) family home.
Davis Islands is a charming quiet neighborhood in Tampa Bay that has been named one of the best places to live in America because of its golf cart community lifestyle that offers walking trails along the water, restaurants/shops/salons/spas, playground, pharmacy, post office, gas station, bank (Bank of America), public boat ramp, Marjorie Park Marina, Sandra W. Freedman Tennis Complex, Roy Jenkins Swimming Pool, Peter O. Knight Airport, Davis Islands Yacht Club with pool and marina, while also being just minutes away by car to all the main attractions that you will want to visit.
Our renovated 2 Bedroom/1.5 Bath home is nestled in a family neighborhood surrounded by water that is a short walk to the Seddon Channel where you can fish and watch the boats/cruise ships come and go from the Port of Tampa. Jose Gaspar’s pirate ship comes down the channel for our annual Gasparilla Festival Parade.
Our home offers you the following amenities:
Bedroom #1: Queen size bed with an attached ½ bath, closet, drawers, and
pillows/linens/towels.
Bedroom #2: Queen size bed with closet, drawers, and pillows/linens/towels.
Kitchen: the kitchen has stainless steel appliances that comes fully equipped with all the essentials you need to cook a family meal. (pots/pans, dishes/glasses, utensils, coffee maker, tea pot, etc...). The kitchen bar area overlooking the family room allows you to cook while also being part of all the fun.
Dining Room: located next to the kitchen offers a quieter more intimate setting to share a meal with family and friends.
Laundry Room: comes with a fully functional washer and dryer.
Family Room: comes with a cable-ready flat-screen TV.
Free WIFI: our home offers comfortable areas to work, read, and stream movies.
Courtyard: the paved courtyard located in front of the home is enclosed by a private stained fence that is directly connected to the carport.
Backyard: the backyard has a beautiful wooden deck that overlooks a spacious landscaped yard that is completely enclosed by a private fence. There is also an outside storage area that contains a Weber Charcoal BBQ Grill, mobile wood burning fire pit, and patio furniture.

Summary: DI is a kind of retreat in the heart of Tampa. You're centrally located to everything urban, but you're also on this safe little island community.Being aware of what kind of hit Davis Islands took during the hurricanes of 2024, the house is in remarkable shape.My wife and I were there will our 16-year old son. The house was a comfortable space for the 3 of us. We especially appreciated both a front patio and back patio allowed outdoor options depending on the sun.Our hosts the Guzmans stocked the place with treats and drinks that also were very appreciated! Definitely would stay there again!

Summary: Attending a conference in Tampa, we were looking for accommodation on Davis Island for two people. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and inviting with modern and well-appointed amenities. Its proximity to a cafes and restaurants made it a perfect choice.

Summary: This is the first part of a two part review. We originally booked for two weeks and then extended another two weeks which created a separate booking. This property was wonderful and the owners fantastic. They had a sweet welcome basket ready for my parents when they arrived. Home was clean, bright and cheerful and exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend.

Summary: We rented this sweet little home for my elderly parents for the last month as they have been displaced by their home being flooded. We wanted to have them near us and this was a block away. The owners were so kind and answered and addressed anything we asked. It was perfect, bright and cheery. We would rent it again in a heartbeat! In fact, if it wasn't already booked we would have stayed longer! Thank you again!

Summary: This is a very charming and clean home in a quiet neighborhood. We spent a week here while visiting our son. This home is in walking distance to the little village with a variety of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: A beautiful house on fabulous David Island. It was very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Just a quick ride to downtown Tampa and close to cafes on Davis Island. Beautiful area to take a walk or bicycle.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our time at this Davis Island property. It is the perfect getaway spot. Perfect walking distance to the little village for coffee in the morning & the neighborhood is quiet and adorable. Edgar and his wife are the sweetest hosts & are extremely responsive if you need anything at all. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area!!
