Positive: The staff was exceptional. So kind and helpful. The whole place seemed to be run by someone(s) who genuinely cared. It needs a facelift/update for sure but the staff does such a great job at maintaining it in its current state that it’s still very welcoming and cozy. The breakfast was simple but offered a lot of variety. The pool area was clean and did not choke you out with chemicals and the pool towels were always available at the front desk. Everything functioned as it should and we had a really great stay!
Negative: Having a later checkout time would be really accommodating, even just till noon. The prices were temporarily raised the weekend we stayed possibly due to the fact that there was a hockey tournament in town, it’s unfortunate for families that have to travel a lot to have the extra expense when the rooms are also known to go for 100 a night vs almost 200 😔
Summary: All in all the staff and cleanliness/maintenance of the hotel is what will bring us back.
