Positive: The location was right on the highway, so it was easy to find and convenient. The person at the front desk was kind, considerate, and helpful. The parking was close to the room. The room looked just like the pictures.
Negative: breakfast wasn't available until 7, we left at 6:30. The bed felt good when I pressed my hand on it, but it wasn't much softer than a board to sleep on. I always sleep through the night, but I woke up every 20 min to an hour because of the discomfort. Surprisingly, when I got up, I did feel rested, but, if I was bothered by the road noise, I wouldn't be able to say that. -it was the loudest road noise I have ever experienced in a hotel. Nothing to do with the room or the service, but whoever was responsible for printing the image of the Alamo, did a disservice to the Alamo. The pixels were stretcehd to match the space above the bed, making the Alamo look ridiculously wide. If you are supposed to "Remember the Alamo" then this rendition won't help. -The single worst rendition of the Alamo that I have ever seen.
