Positive: Staying in De Waterkant has always been a dream, with its beautifully colourful buildings and charming atmosphere. When an impromptu trip to Cape Town came up, we jumped at the chance to book 139 Waterkant Cottage – and it was absolutely worth it! The two-bedroom house was stunningly renovated, blending historic charm with modern comfort. The neighbourhood itself is incredibly safe and artsy, making evening strolls after work an absolute pleasure. I only wish this trip were longer – I could easily stay for a month or more! A special mention to James, who was responsive, engaged, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Given the ever-changing nature of our plans due to a family bereavement, his support made all the difference. If you're considering a stay in Cape Town, I can’t recommend 139 Waterkant Cottage highly enough – a truly wonderful experience!
