This charming detached, contemporary holiday cottage has an open plan living area, luxurious bathrooms and two beautiful bedrooms. You’ll find handmade British soft furnishings with decorations in Farrow and Ball colours, granite worktops to the well-fitted hand made kitchen. There are two modern bathrooms with vanity cupboards. The comfy sitting area has a Sony LED HD Smart TV with freeview, DVD player, WiFi and a wood-burning stove. There is underfloor heating throughout and heated towel rails.
The accommodation is designed to an exceptionally high standard in a rural, tranquil setting. Fresh flowers and a welcome basket of basic supplies greet you upon arrival together with a complimentary bottle of wine.
The entrance door leads from a porch into the fully equipped, open plan kitchen with a Neff electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The open plan kitchen leads to the sitting/dining room featuring the pretty wood burning stove, that is made up with logs ready to light, ensuring you are cosy throughout your stay.
The master bedroom (ground floor) features a luxurious king size bed with Egyptian cotton linen, a snuggly designer throw, comfy pillows and duvet. This leads to a modern en suite bathroom with a large shower bath, vanity cupboard and w.c.
The second bedroom (first floor) has twin beds and is open plan to its private staircase and lobby with an en suite wet room (ground floor). The spacious walk in shower has two showerhead options. This is a fun space with privacy from the ground floor living area. Automatic black out blinds add to the finishing touches of this unique bedroom space.
Both bathrooms have heated towel rails, Egyptian cotton towels and welcome toiletries.
Deerkeepers’ enjoys its own landscaped garden with terraces, outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ (during the warmer weather).
There are country walks from the door onto a bridleway and the nearby Ashdown Forest (2,396 hectares). This cottage is in the gardens of an old coach house, which once formed part of a larger estate; therefore it has the benefit of a private tennis court and small home gym. Summary: Our party of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Deerkeepers, it has a superb rural location with a lovely, peaceful cottage garden to relax in. The property is finished to a very good standard with quality appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed the tennis court! Angie was a great host with excellent communication.

Summary: The cottage was all that it promised to be and more - with extensive grounds for country/forest walks with deer and horses. Host left us tailored welcome package based on food allergies and popped round to check we were OK without being intrusive.

Summary: We spent five nights at the Deerkeepers Cottage and found the home in tip-top condition. Angela dropped by after our arrival to see if we had any questions. She advised us about the local train schedules and saved us some drive time with her recommendations. The welcome basket was helpful, as were her directions to the local grocery store. We also enjoyed the nearby pub, The Gardeners Arms, per her suggestion. We used the East Grinstead train station to commute in and out of London each day during our stay and found our stay at Deerkeepers perfect for our explorations of London. You can't go wrong with a stay in the country after a full day in the city. It was perfect to come to the quiet and solitude of Deerkeepers. And, there is something very soothing about awakening to the sounds of chirping birds every morning You can't go wrong with a stay at Angela's Deerkeepers Cottage.

Summary: We stayed at the Deerkeepers Cottage for three nights with our two boys. It was a beautiful property, with lots to do. The cottage was immaculate and the boys loved looking at the horses and playing tennis. We were close enough to amenities to head into London or go to a local pub, but loved staying in and watching movies in the cozy family room! We can’t wait to go back.

Summary: We were in England from the US visiting friends and celebrating a birthday at a home in a nearby community. This cottage, located on a farm about a 20 minute drive from Dormansland, provided us with a private space to visit and recharge. The amenities were perfect for four adults, and I can imagine in better weather, we would have taken advantage of the woodland walks and outdoor patio. Angie was a gracious and attentive host.

Summary: A hidden oasis of a beautiful English cottage, full of modern amenities was our experience during our 7 day stay. The pics on the site don’t do it justice. Inside is everything u need to enjoy ur visit; with hosts who go above and beyond to exceed guests expectations. The grounds / views which lead onto the Ashdown forest are brilliant. I highly recommend this Vrbo for the ultimate private getaway. We were blown away by the whole package . 5 STARS for this great Vrbo.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Deer Keepers Cottage, the accommodation and surroundings are beautiful! The high quality furnishings within the property were greatly appreciated as well as the amazing welcome pack. A welcome pack full of basics such as bread, milk, cereal, margarine, eggs and jam is exactly what guests need. The beds were very comfortable and there are lots of options for day trips nearby. We also enjoyed the use of the tennis court and private woods. We thoroughly enjoyed cooling off from the sun within the woods, spotting deer, a rabbit, dragonflies and a woodpecker. The garden is stunning, cosy and secluded, a complete delight which I am already missing! For anyone considering a day trip to Brighton we would recommend the Withdean park and ride. It was very easy and convenient to use. I would definitely recommend this property, you won't be disappointed!
