Positive: This house is a real gem, close to Ubud but very quiet, the rooms are big, very new and great. It was the first place I have been so far that had a proper office chair at the work desk. The kitchenette in front of each room is well equipped and perfect for cooking your own meals. The view is amazing (had the room on the top floor. The owners are great, and there's a cooking class right there as well.

Negative: There is some construction going on - they are basically just finishing the rooms on the ground floor. But the owner made me aware of it and I could only hear some sounds during the day, but nothing critical at all.

Summary: Absolute gem close to Ubud with an amazing jungle view

Positive: Dekada and his family are so warm and welcoming, greeting me every time I arrived home. Being a family business you can see how much care is taken into every aspect of the guesthouse. The place is spotless, rooms are a great size, bed are super comfortable (pillows, sheets are amazing), and it even comes with a small kitchen which is incredible for the price! Best of all, it is peaceful, surrounded by nature and only 10 mins away from Ubud center. I highly recommend staying at Dekada House. I will definitely be going back some day.

Negative: Nothing. This place is the best places I have stayed in 12 years I have been coming to Bali.

Positive: great jungle view and privacy. best shower in my life! very comfortable and spacious room. fast wifi. and amazing peace at night with only lovely jungle sounds

Negative: the road to center is not really walkable, but with gojek is fine. free water refill for guests would be great to reduce plastic waste. even if it comes with a small fee please make sure to tell it during check in😊

Positive: I immediately felt at home at Dekada House. Made, Nyoman, and their family care for this place with their whole hearts. Every day you’re greeted with the kindest smiles, genuine warmth, and help with anything you might need. I truly felt welcomed into their family home, and I was so sad to leave. The whole family is incredibly caring and loving. They also host a beautiful cooking class where you can learn to make traditional Balinese food, airport pickup/drop-off and anything else! The villa itself is spotless and immaculately maintained. It’s a new property, so everything feels fresh—no mould, excellent hot water pressure, new air conditioning, and great Wi-Fi throughout. It’s very quiet and peaceful, and waking up to a stunning jungle view every morning feels truly magical. There’s covered bike parking for rainy days, easy road access, and taxis can reach the property without issue. This is also my favourite location in Ubud—just outside the main town, where it’s calm and serene with lush jungle views, yet only a very quick drive or even walk to the main street. You can easily visit community favourites like Sayuri and Bali Buda without having to deal with Ubud traffic. I couldn’t recommend Dekada House more. It’s a rare place that feels both like a sanctuary and a home.
