Positive: The room was spotless, and the hotel boasts a fantastic location, just steps from the entrance to the Great Wall and a 30-minute taxi ride from the Badaling entrance.

Negative: The breakfast was very disappointing. There was no black coffee, just one piece of sausage, some salad and three small steamed items. Also, our reservation mentioned a coffee maker in the room, but there wasn’t one. When I brought it up with the hotel manager, he claimed that the information on Booking wasn’t clearly stated.

Positive: The staff were super friendly … they are very helpful and made our stay so much better … we were given a nice tea gift bag when we left, amazing touch. View from the room was awesome and the corgis very cute.

Positive: Amazing view, great value, great location with a quiet great wall entrance very close. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, breakfast and coffees were excellent. Very cool dogs too

Negative: We really liked almost everything, Hopefully renovations are continuing, you can tell some areas have been modernised and update but some areas are a little rough.
