Delightful rural house set in a magnificent umbrella pine wood by the historic village of Hinojos on the edge of the Donana National Park. 35 mins from the vibrant flamenco city of Seville and miles of golden sandy beaches. This perfect rural get-away-from-it-all retreat house is ideal for relaxing, swimming in the child-friendly pool, sunbathing and enjoying a barbecue with friends. The peaceful house has air-conditioning, fans, 4 double bedrooms (1 en-suite) and a double sofa bed, fully-fitted kitchen, large lounge with open log fire and ample off-road parking. The private and secure 1000m2 garden is complete with orange and lemon trees, children’s play area & sand pit. There are bars and restaurants within a 20 minute walk and the centre of the village and supermarkets are a 5 min drive. The area is central to all the major birding sites in the Donana region and the rare Spanish Imperial Eagle and Iberian Lynx have been seen close to the house. This is a fabulous get-away-from it house which is very well located to many wonderful locations.

Summary: Great few days staying in Hinojos. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The location worked well for us. We had a hire car and it was easy to get to the beach, Donana national park or pop into Seville for the afternoon. The kids loved the pool, and making fresh juice and lemonade from the fruit in the garden. Communication with the host was excellent.

Summary: Spacious, clean property with lots of outside sitting areas to follow (or avoid) the sun. Lovely swimming pool. A great place for wildlife - in the garden and in the surrounding areas. Doñana reserve centres all within 30km.

Summary: Very nice and clean house, good beds. And most of all: big outdoor-area with a large and deep swimming pool. Really nice to get to know this less touristic part of Andalusia. Good communication with owner and staff. Warm welcome with a bottle of wine on the day of our arrival.

Summary: Due to the Corona crisis we were not able to come to Spain. So unfortunately we did not stay in this beautiful house. Reuben was very helpful and friendly. We have changed our booking to 2021 because we still want to stay in this wonderful place!

Summary: If you are looking for the Hilton this is not it, but having said that we absolutely loved this place. It has the feel of a treasured family cottage.... homey and cozy.The kitchen was extremely well equipped, everything worked the way it was supposed to and the beds were comfortable, even the one that squeaked a bit in one of the middle bedrooms. The bathrooms had been renovated and were lovely. And the outside was just marvellous. There was a wonderful pool, numerous fruit trees and many places to sit or lounge about. After a day trip, it was a joy to return to this haven, jump in the pool and have a glass of wine either in the sunshine or under the large tree by the front door. We had all of our meals outside and would sit and chat until dark. Perhaps the biggest asset of this home is the owner and managers. Reuben, Gaby and Hans were all wonderful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great time! Thanks to you all! We were sad to leave this place today and would go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: We spent 3 wonderful weeks in Hinojos celebrating my 60th birthday. The villa was the perfect place for us to be able to spend quality time with our family. We stayed for the whole 3 weeks and our children and their families joined us at different points. The pool was a big hit with all ages! Although the 3 twin bedrooms are quite small our adult children felt they were big enough!! They each have a good sized wardrobe. The ensuite double bedroom was very comfortable. The air conditioning in that room is very efficient. The two bathrooms have been recently updated and the kitchen is very well equipped. The 2nd fridge was extremely welcome for cooling drinks! We loved the neighbourhood. We drove down with our dog and we were able to walk here in the forest every morning. We discovered a beautiful dog friendly beach near to Matascalanas. Take the road to Mazagon and go left at the first roundabout to park at parque Dunar. Fantastic food at the beach cafe! We loved Seville and enjoyed several visits there. Our kids all seemed to love the bar on the edge of the forest. You just cross the main road to reach it. Gaby was there to greet us when we arrived with lots of local information. We enjoyed our regular visits from Hans, ensuring that the pool was in perfect condition for us. Communication with Reuben was great from start to finish! He was very quick to respond to all of our questions. It was an amazing holiday in a wonderful location. Perfect weather the whole time!! The only difficult part was leaving!!

Summary: Our first time abroad for a while, My wife & I wanted somewhere peaceful & our two teenage daughters wanted a pool, Casa Donana didn't disappoint. The villa is set on a quite estate and within walking distance to the surrounding woodland. The bedrooms are basic, clean with comfortable beds. the bathrooms & kitchen are modern and the kitchen is well equipped. We found the villa very comfortable. We spent most mornings by the pool before avoiding the midday sun in the air conned villa, (it was well into the 40*), and then back out in the early evening. There is plenty to do within the area if you want to, Gaby sorted out a hire bike for me which was delivered and picked up from the villa, some nice rides on good tracks in the woods towards Almonte and down through Doñana National Park, the roads are quite and flat. We had nice days out in Sevilla and at the beach and a full day driving to Arcos de la Frontera & Ronda. We had good communication with Ruebens and Gaby before our arrival with made our stay go smoothly We all had a excellent time and Casa Donana was a great place to stay

Summary: We had a very enjoyable week in Casa Donana. The villa is very clean and well equipped - Reuben is keen to listen to feedback and is always making improvements and so we found everything to be well-organised: lots of crockery, lovely bathrooms, shelter for the car etc. There are a many things to do in the area and there are only a few English tourists which we enjoyed. The beaches are lovely and quite empty if you go along from the main urbanisation and the sea was warm. Seville was easy to get to on the metro and we were impressed by what a beautiful, clean city it is. The pine woods close to the villa and spreading across the national park are very attractive.
